Thin van walls can make it difficult to install an awning window without adding spacer material behind the frame. This bracket adds the support needed so the Overlander OVR-AW4015 window can tighten securely against van walls up to 1/8" thick.
On thinner van walls, the inner frame of the window may not have enough material behind it to tighten properly without adding spacer pieces. This bracket fills that space so the frame has proper support when it clamps against the body panel. Instead of measuring, cutting, and stacking wood or other filler material to match the wall thickness and get everything to line up evenly, you install the bracket and tighten the frame against solid support instead of stacked spacer pieces. hat gives the window frame consistent support across the entire opening so it tightens evenly without relying on stacked spacer pieces.
