Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra replacement keys. These are going to be the standard CH751 key set that's going to go with most of your RVs. They come from the factory with this 751 locking core. Just to prove to you that it is a pretty standard key size and shape, we have a 2003 over here, and all I got to really do, obviously, just use the key. It's going to unlock this one, as you can see.
And then, over here we do have a Jayco, and it's a 2012, so there's about nine years difference here and the key actually works for both of them. So, if you're wondering what kind of lock you have and you haven't replaced them and you bought your RV or camper new, usually these side compartments here are going to be that CH751 key, and we do sell replacements here at etrailer.com. That's really all you need to know about this key set.There is some that come with the locking cores as well, two different sizes. One is going to be a little bit longer, just to fit your thicker doors, and there's going to be a smaller one to fit your smaller doors. But, in my opinion if you're buying these just because you lost them or your keys weren't working that well, or just because you just want new locks and keys, I suggest not going with the CH751, just because odds are if you're at the RV park, you're probably going to have other RV'ers that are going to have this same exact key set.
Yes, it's kind of hard to think that maybe someone will come around at night and unlock all your doors, but that's something you really do have to keep in mind. We have a bunch of different types of locks at etrailer.com. There's some like here, or you can come over here to another one of our RVs we have here.This is more of an actual RV. It's not an E series Ford like the ones we we're looking at before, but this CH751 key isn't going to be working for these locks. So, if you would like to get this style, we do have those, but we also just have the basic cores that have different non super universal keys like the 751.
So, I would definitely suggest that if, I'd just say replace all your locks, just to give you peace of mind. I know I would. But, that's basically all you really need to know about the Valterra CH751 replacement keys. I'm Adam with etrailer.com and I hope this information helped.

Best. Key. Ever. Unlocks the door EVERY time! Feels great in my hand and fits well on the keychain. I can hardly tell it's in my pocket. If I ever needed to unlock another door just like the one I have, I would buy this key again and again!

Perfectly for additional keys
