Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a replacement key for the Sportrack racks and carriers, specifically key number Y002. Now, if you're not sure how to know which key you need, if you'd lost a key, you simply look at the lock core face. There should be a number engraved on there. In this case, it would say either Y002 or 002, and then you simply would order the matching key number.
So again, Y002 is engraved on top of this key. So that's the key number. Quantity is one. So if you need more than one, which I recommend getting, just change the quantity in the cart before you finish up your purchase. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together.

The keys were perfect, I could open the top parts of the rack but it seems that the bottom parts that sit on the roof are different cause I can open the end parts on them and there is no number on them or indication to match to a key number, beside that I,m very satisfied thank you

Exactly as advertised. Arrived quickly and worked perfectly to replace the lost key on my SportRack.
the lock had 2006 on it the key had the same but it did not fit the lock (I wasted my money)
Fast delivery and cheap price, the key doesnt work for whatever reason, key number matches the number stamped on the lock so who knows, not e trailers fault
Delivered in about 2 weeks. Perfect fit for my SportRack ski rack. Would recommend to anyone who needs a replacement key.
Did not work in my case. I confirmed the key code (Y002) on the lock cylinder before ordering and again after unsuccessfully attempting to use the key. There is no branding on the rack to verify whether it is a Sportrack, but I didn't have anything else to go by.
Shipping communication from etrailer was good; processing by the USPS was awful.
I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.
