It didn't work
I couldn't be happier with my key. I bought the bike rack from a third party and was unable to remove the rack after installing it. This key saved the day! Unfortunately, a rather large delay between placing my order and the key's shipment existed. Though I understand the issue, I was somewhat disappointed. Overall, a great buy.

Great OEM replacement key for my Thule locks and etrailer delivered my replacement keys quickly.
It never dawned on me that etrailer.com would have a key that I needed to open the locks on an old Thule bike rack. I Googled the key # and low and behold, www.etrailer.com came up in the search. Some day I'll spend a few hours on the site to see what other gems can be found here. Thanks again!

I'm sorry you're having difficulties with the replacement key! If your lock has N099 stamped next to the key slot, you do have the correct key. Try inserting the key, and giving the end of the key a couple of taps with a mallet or hammer (be gentle!) This will ensure the key is fully inserted and making full contact with the lock tumblers.
