The key worked like a charm as a replacement key for my factory BMW roof bars.

I was so close to finally breaking out the hacksaw to get the old lock off my disengaged Thule bike rack. I made the cardinal sin of losing the key to it after a total garage remodel. I tried every spare and odd key- but none worked. I finally looked at the small number on the lock and did a google search- even though I wasn’t sure the lock was a Thule lock. I found the key on etrailer and hoped it would work. Sure enough-it did. Saved me probably $100 for losing the old one and buying a replacement!
Had great luck with easy installation of the trailer wiring harness for my Subaru too. Great products!
Unfortunately keys did not work. Subtracting shipping costs both receiving and sending...not worth returning the keys.
This is great, worked well. Only problem was how long it took to be delivered about 18 days!

If the replacement key was purchased for a Sears Sport 20SV carrier, be aware that the replacement keys are about 1-1/16 of an inch shorter than the original keys. The first time you use the key, give the end a sharp rap with a hammer or a mallet so it seats fully in the lock cylinder. Once the key is fully seated, itll work just fine from there on out.
