I found a great deal on a used Thule TH440 Specialty Railing Rack on eBay, but one of the towers or "feet" were damaged in shipping. After a great conversation with the seller, it was agreed that we would split the cost of a replacement foot. Could not have been treated better or received better service! The folks at etrailer had to special order the part, but kept me in the loop and took great care of me! The rack is used to haul a sea kayak in Malone Autoloaders while gear is stored in a Yakima Space Case. etrailer rocks!
Works as expected, I was very pleased that etrailer.com representatives were able to provide this replacement part, as I was unable to find it anywhere else. My Thule rack was damaged in a rollover accident a few years back. Rather than purchase a completely new rack, I was able to restore the rack I have.
It fits perfectly.
