Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement 10 inch long driver's side LED strip for your Roadmaster 157 Taillight Wiring Kit. Now this part here is gonna replace the driver's side LED strip that's on the Roadmaster 157 Universal LED Taillight Wiring Kit. Now we mentioned this is the driver's side. They do also offer the passenger side, which we sell separately.
That LED strip for the passenger side is part number 157-20 or the etrailer part number of RM29NQ. Now this is a nice flexible 10 inch LED strip. It's going to curve to the fit body work for wide side and rear visibility. On the very back you can see it uses pre-installed 3M automotive adhesive backing. Provides a nice quick secure mount.
The wiring on this, it is a color coded three wire pigtail, which will easily connect into your kit's junction box. As you can see, I have some wires hooked up. I got it hooked up to some 12 volt power just to show you how bright the light is. This is gonna restore and give you a bright brake light, a terminal signal light, and a tail light function to alert the drivers behind you. So what we're gonna do is go ahead and turn the power on.
That'll come go to the tail light function just like that. We'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. There you can see is your tail light function. And then when you do the turn signal function, you can see that'll just be, for the turn signal function. And then if you do the brakes, when the brakes are applied, you can see it's a lot brighter light.
Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Now this is for a quantity of one driver's side LED strip. We mentioned the length of the light itself, it's 10 inches. Operating voltage, 12 volt DC. Does have an IP68 rating. And again, the adhesive pre-installed 3M automotive tape.
