Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Replacement Gear Motor Assembly. This is going to work for your Lippert Components Slide-Out Assembly, part number 524908. This is going to replace that whole motor piece to get you back out on the road and functioning properly with your slide-out.It does have the wiring harness here, so we can just plug that into our existing system and get our electrical connection made. We'll have our brake switch here to manually release that if we ever need to, but it does need to be engaged before you actually go in transit. Just gonna help you to get the cylinder here lined up with everything so you can get everything put in place properly.I'm gonna give you a couple measurements just for reference.
So if we go from the bottom of these posts here, where they have the threads installed or the threads made, it's about nine and . excuse me, about eight and three-quarter inches long. And then the base is about three and seven-eighths inches wide. The diameter of this cylinder here is about three quarters of an inch. It sticks out from the housing, kind of going from that same position back, it's about an inch and a half that it goes out, so from here to there.
Our wiring coming off of the cylinder is about six inches of wire before it actually comes to that plug.That's pretty much gonna do it for our look at the Replacement Gear Motor Assembly for your slide-out assembly on your Lippert Components Slide-Out Assembly. Motor is slightly larger than my original slide motor but mounted and cleared all areas needed. Since it’s a larger motor it has more torque and operates slide easily.

The unit works but I had to change the wiring as it was out when in was correct for slide out. The connector was correct to match old one Price was high

These guys are great! I have ordered multiple times and have been satisfied with the customer support, shipping, and product every time. After receiving the motor and getting it installed it works as expected. Purchase was easy and it arrived quickly. Shipping was free. The motor cost more than I expected, but etrailer's price was the cheapest I could find.
Service was fast and easy, however the brake actuator was broken when it arrived. I took pictures and advised etrailer. Installation was straight forward without compilation. Motor worked fine. etrailer is working on a discount for the damage. etrailer would ship a new replacement but we are leaving on a trip and don't have the extra time to wait. Hopefully the damage won't interfere with the life of the motor. I will buy from etrailer again

Great products! It was the exact replacement motor for my motor home. It is very well made and was easy to install. This Motor assy was a direct replacment for slide out on our 2006 Allegro Bus. The motor was larger than the original but mountings were the same. The roll pin had to be removed as ours did not use the roll pin. This roll pin was very hard to remove.
The large slide out now works like new.
Not an actual replacement, it’s bigger which is fine but the engage/disengage lever is upside down when installed. Plenty of room for it but a pain to get to . So this is not a direct replacement for the 522802 power gear.
It was the correct part for what I needed. Easy to find on trailer web site and quick shipping. Perfect fit and Installation was straight forward, (I did have to change polarity on wiring so it operated correctly with the switch). After more than a year it is working great.
I had contacted multiple suppliers, including Jayco, and I couldn't get any help with my motor replacement. When I contacted etrailer, Nicholas was extremely helpful with cross- referencing the part. He was able to supply me with a replacement motor that bolted up perfectly.
