Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at Coughlan's insect shield jacket for kids. Now, this bug jacket is going to protect your child from mosquitoes, from ticks and other kinds of insects. And it's gonna protect their head, their neck and their arms and their torso. So, this is gonna provide quite a bit of coverage for your child when they are wearing this jacket.
Let's take a closer look at some of the features of this jacket. Now, the elastic draw strings that you find here at the wrist and at the waist, are going to allow you to adjust the jacket as needed for full comfort and protection. And for instance, at the wrist here, you can just, cinch these tight, with these elastic draw strings, and then when you have it, where is most comfortable, you can just use this cord lock and that will lock it into place, the same for the waist as well. So, that's gonna prevent insects from coming in that way and offer you full protection. Now, the zippered head is this is what it's going to look like when it's completely covering the head of your child, but you can easily remove it with this zipper.
And it'll just go down like a hood and that'll allow easy access to pockets, if you're wearing a jacket on the inside or allow you to get a drink as well. And then you will just put the head portion back up over the head and face and zip it shut, and then your child will be protected, once again. Now, this mesh is made out of a lightweight flame retardant material, and it's gonna keep out all kinds of insects and even insects you can't see, no-see-ums insects such as that. Now, this is going to fit a person up to 100 pounds and it is recommended for ages eight and up. And the mesh, the mesh is about 1,150 holes per square inch.
And we don't wanna keep the adults out of the fun either. We have several different sizes for adults in regards to these insect shield jackets.
