Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. If you're looking for a set of running boards on your vehicle, but you don't wanna compromise on the aesthetics or even the ground clearance of your vehicle too much, then I think the Westin Outlaw running boards could be a really solid fit for you. Let's check 'em out. Now, we offer these in a variety of different fits for different vehicles. But with these, I think they're gonna be a great choice because they don't drop down too far from the vehicle, so you're not gonna be sacrificing as much ground clearance. And by being a bit more tucked up and trim, I think it's gonna give it a much nicer look. Not to mention these do match the aesthetics of a more off-road capable vehicle like our Forerunner today really well. So depending on the truck that you're putting this on, you might find that it's a really nice match aesthetically too.

Now the surface of that step is gonna be five and a half inches deep, which when you're talking about running boards, that's gonna be quite a bit bigger than most. It's gonna give you a really easy step and very sure footing whenever you are getting in and out of the vehicle, and even if you're keeping the door closed, so you've got something like a roof rack and you wanna load something up on top of it, this is gonna give you much easier access to the roof of your vehicle by giving you a sturdy, wide place to stand and get to those things on top that would otherwise be hard to reach. The boards are gonna be constructed of a 16 gauge steel with a textured black powder coat finish over the top. It's gonna make sure that these things are really strong and capable, and that top plate is gonna be stamped with these holes and divots so that when you do step up here, say even like rainy or wet conditions, you're gonna have pretty good grip with your shoes. On the outside edge, you've got this two inch diameter steel tube, so it kind of rounds off the board here and gives it a nice finished look, especially at the front and rear where it starts to taper in and give you this really nice clean line for the vehicle.

Now the length of the boards and the style of the brackets are gonna be a little bit different depending on your vehicle because they are all gonna be custom fit. But these are designed to be no drill applications, so those brackets should line up with factory holes in your vehicle, making the installation process pretty straightforward. But overall, I'm a big fan of these boards. I think they've got a really great rugged but clean look. They match the vehicles really well, and I gotta say that when I step on it, it's probably one of the strongest boards I feel like I've ever installed just because there's minimal flex and that 16 gauge steel really does hold up to the weight of someone a little bit bigger like myself.

So I'd have no problem recommending this to anyone that I know, and I would certainly consider putting this on a vehicle of my own.
