Video Transcript for Installing the WeatherTech Mud Flaps on your 2013 Ford F-150

Today on this 2013 Ford F150, we'll be installing the WeatherTech no-drill mud flaps for the front and rear, part number WT110002-120002. Before we start our install, we're going to go ahead and turn the wheels to one side to make it easier to get to the fasteners. Now there are two fasteners on the bottom edge of the fender wells towards the bottom. We'll go ahead and remove these two screws. At this point, it would be a good idea to have a test fit of the mud flap against the fender well to see how it fits against it. You also want to make sure the attachment point on top is in its unlocked position.

Once you know how it fits up against the fender well, we can go ahead and reinstall the existing factory fasteners. The mud flap is marked with and indicator of locked and unlocked position. We'll press it against the fender well, and then take the included Allen key and go ahead and tighten down the screw. You'll see it slide over to the locked position as it grabs the edge of your fender well and tightens down. We'll go ahead and continue tightening down until it's nice and snug.

Then we'll go ahead and tighten down the other two screws on the bottom. With that, our driver side is done and we can go ahead and repeat the same process over on the passenger side. Now we can move on to the rear flaps. The first thing we need to do is go ahead and locate the two fasteners that are at the bottom of the fender well. There are two plastic rivets that we have to remove.

We'll start them off with a screwdriver. Then we'll pull the remainder out with needle nose pliers. With those pulled out, we can go ahead and take the mud flap and do a quick test fit to see how it fits up against the fender well. So now I'll take the new hardware that comes with the mud flap, the stainless steel screw and washer. We'll run it through the outside to the inside, and on the inside we'll install the black flange nut.

We'll install two of these through two holes and leave them together loose. Next, we'll work with the fastener up on top. Now if you'll notice, there's an indicator built in onto the mud flap, which is a locked and unlocked position. We'll go ahead and push it up against the edge of the fender well, and then using the provided Allen key, we'll go ahead and tighten it down. When we tighten it down, you'll see the indicator move over to the locked position. Once it's there, go ahead and tighten it down further until it's nice and snug. With those few steps, our mud flap is already installed. We'll go ahead and repeat the same process for the passenger side. Okay, and with that, that will finish it for our install of part number WT110002-120002, on our 2013 Ford F150.

  • Can Weathertech Mud Flaps Handle Full Service Car Wash On 2014 Ford F-150
I called my contact at Weathertech and they told me the WeatherTech Mud Flaps, part # WT110002-120002 will be no problem for you. They told me they have had zero complaints about the mud flaps holding up when going through a car wash as you described.

  • Installation Video of WeatherTech Mud Flaps for a 2012 Ford F-150
Mud flap set # WT110002-120002 is both the front and rear sets combined into one part number. The dash in the middle separates the front and rear numbers but if you ordered this you would get all 4 mud flaps. To see a typical installation of the actual mud flaps take a look at the video I have linked. I have also linked the instructions for you. The main picture is just a typical photo.

  • Mudflap Recommendation for 2013 Ford F-150 with Running Boards
The Husky Liners Front Mudflaps part # HL56591 are intended for trucks that have factory running boards so this would be what you would need for the front and then for the back part # WT120003 for if you have fender flares or part # WT120002 without add-on flares.

  • Will The WeatherTech Mud Flaps Fit a 2010 Ford F-150 With Factory Tube Steps
I have confirmed with my contacts at WeatherTech and the Mud Flaps that you indicted # WT110002-120002, are confirmed as a fit for your truck. You are also correct that the tube steps would not be classified as running boards, so that would not be an issue for installing these mudflaps on your truck. Thank you very much for including a photo of your truck. This also helped determine the fit depending on if you had a factory installed fender flare. You do not have a fender flare that would...

For a complete set of 4 mud flaps, we have 2 options for the 2009 Ford F-150 style side (regular bed). If your truck does not have the factory add-on fender flares use # WT110002-120002. If the truck does have factory add-on fender flares use # WT110003-120003. I have included links to the installation instructions for you to view.
