Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Access Rockstar mud flap for towing. It's gonna be a full width, commercial grade. Now folks, this is a custom-fit application. Make sure you're checking the fit guide here at etrailer.com.
Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. On the homepage, you're gonna see something that says, "My vehicle, my car information," something of that nature. Enter things like year, make, and model. Keep in mind, sometimes these videos can be outdated and it could potentially fit different year, make and models that I have on the screen today for you. Now again, this is a full width, commercial grade mud flap system.
I left the heat shield off today just to kind of help you see the main mud flap itself. As you can see, you're gonna have all the bracketry, bolts, nuts, everything included. And a lot of these are gonna go through pre-made slits in the mud flap and then just go directly on your truck without drilling at all. So it's a very simple, easy insulation. Then you have a couple of these lynch-style pins for detaching the mud flap and installing it whenever you need to.
And when you don't need it, you can pull 'em off. Now, this is a 1/2-inch thick on the rubber, so it's very, very heavy-duty. It's gonna be great for keeping road debris, grime, dirt, mud, ice, rocks from flying up behind you and hitting whatever you're hauling and just also protecting other pedestrians that are out there on the roads as well. Now, if I go here in the middle, pick it up, I can kind of show you the thickness a little better and kind of the makeup of it. So very heavy-duty.
You can see that trap is lid-shaped bar. Two of them go and meet here in the middle under my chin, and that's where there's a very thick, about 1/2-inch thick, solid bar stock in between those two that you can't see. And then I was able to bolt through all the bolts from the other side. And you can see these cutouts there. You get that one tall rectangular slit and those other carriage bolt square cutouts. That's gonna be where the rest of the hardware and potentially that heat shield go installed. Again, check all the instructions that come with it. Reach out to us if you have any questions about this product or anything else. We're here to help you. We love helping people and answering questions. I'm Steven with etrailer. Thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching. Stay safe while you're towing.
