Hello, neighbor. This is Curt with etrailer. And today we've got something truly special to share with you. Yakima has partnered with onX to bring you a special collaborative edition. This is the Yakima OverHaul HD Shadow Edition. And while you're gonna get all the same perks that you love about the OverHaul HD, you're gonna get quite a few extras as well.

So let's take a look. First of all, this is a limited edition, so you are going to get a special plate on your ladder rack that is gonna give you a number. So for instance, we have number 94 out of a thousand here today. And one of the things that's included with the Shadow Edition that makes it different than the standard is that it's going to come with the MOLLE panels. You'll need a minimum 40 inch crossbar spread on your truck bed, but the MOLLE panel is gonna give you an extra place to mount those accessories that you want quick access to and don't have to dig through all the gear in your truck bed for.

So you'll have things like RotopaX, so such as a extra gas can. You'll have things like shovels, axes, all those other tools, utility bags, a lot of different things that you can get on these MOLLE panels. And while we do have some of the Shadow Edition logos also on the MOLLE panels and on the legs here to help distinguish it from the Standard Edition, one of the other things that it comes with that is really, really cool is the finish. The finish is a different powder coat than the Standard Edition. It's a darker black matte and it's got a higher scratch resistance.

The Shadow Edition also comes with a really convenient tool bag. All of the tools that you need to make any adjustments or to install or uninstall your OverHaul HD are included in here, as well as several extra pockets for any other tools you might need. And that includes a lot of the washers that you get with the MOLLE panels, to help keep your accessories in place. Folds up really nice and convenient, just like this. And this is gonna be something that's easy to store anywhere.

The OverHaul HD Shadow Edition comes in two different sizes. You've got your medium for these smaller and mid-size trucks. These are gonna come with a 60 inch bar. And you've also got the large, which is gonna be for your full-size truck beds. That's gonna come with a 68 inch bar. But other than that, you're still gonna get all of the same features that you love about the OverHaul HD. The HD bars are gonna give you a 500 pound on-road capacity and a 300 pound off-road capacity. It's got a channel mount on the top for your channel-mounted accessories, and the bars themselves are gonna fit most clamp-style accessories. We've got tie-downs at the end of the bars and on our legs right here, as well as our signature Yakima bottle opener. And also to help accommodate different size trucks, different heights of your cab, the legs can be extended up from 19 inches above the bed rail, which is where they're sitting right now, all the way up to 30 inches above the bed rail. So we've got it at the 19 inch setting right now, which on this truck puts us just above the cab. Perfect. But if say you had a roof rack or a platform up over the cab and you wanted to raise your bars up to match that height, you can absolutely do that. There is a scale on the inside of each of the legs that is gonna really help you pinpoint exactly the height you need, because they don't have preset increments in order for you to raise or lower it. And we've also got included locks on the rack as well. And those locks are compatible with Yakima's SKS, or Same Key System, which is gonna give you the opportunity to get those locks keyed alike to other Yakima accessories you have. So if you have a roof box, or a kayak carrier, bike carrier, you know, anything from Yakima that has locks on it, you can get those keyed alike in order to keep your key organization that much simpler. The capacity and the modularity of the Yakima OverHaul HD is hard for anybody with a passion for overlanding to pass up.
