Features:
Detachable Storage Bags
Keep tools and supplies neatly stowed away and secured with this useful tailgate organizer from Bestop. Two large, removable bags and a mesh pocket create a convenient storage space.
The bags attach to the mounting rack with built-in metal hooking strips. Simply slide the strip on each bag into the strip on the mounting rack. Side reinforcements on the bags offer added support. The bags easily detach from the mounting rack and they have handles on the top so you can grab and go without hassle.
Mounts to Tailgate
This organizer is designed for a perfect fit and simple installation on the inside of your vehicle's tailgate. For 2007 and newer models, no drilling is required for installation. The rectangular factory molding on the inside of your tailgate is removed to expose existing attachment points to which the organizer is mounted. For 1987-2006 models, drilling is required to create the holes needed to install the organizer.
Made for maximum durability, this RoughRider tailgate organizer is constructed of the same material as your Jeep soft top, making it tough enough for any climate and resistant to mildew and UV rays. The seams are sewn with marine-grade thread for added durability and resistance to wear and tear. Black Diamond color matches Jeep soft top and accessories for a uniform look.

Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. today, we're going to be taking a look at the best top rough rider custom tailgate organization system for your Jeeps. So, if you have a Jeep from 1987, all the way to 2017, we are going to be able to use this to help get some of your stuff out off of the floors and stuff and nice and organized in the back. As far as size goes, take a look at the panel on the back of the tailgate here. It's going to be just as long as that, and it's going to cover up all the stuff that this panel covered up. In regards to how much it can hold, it really just depends on what you plan on putting in there.
What I would really use this for would be probably a lot of my camera equipment, just because it is a pretty structurally nice bag.You can get a lot of that different kind of stuff in there, but even if you're just hiking or maybe just taking a little walk somewhere, you can put a bunch of different stuff in here. It has a nice little form to it, a couple of different pockets in the back, which is nice, and of course, we have little clips here, so that'll keep that from flapping around. If you have the top off or the doors off, that'd be great. You got a little mesh thing in here, so if you have something that needs to be a little bit more accessible quicker, you can put that in there, or if it's a little damp or something, you can put it in there. We don't have to worry about any mildew or any UV deterioration of the bags because it will resist against all of that. This is the bigger bag, and it has a nice little sturdy handle.
I really like it just because if I do have my camera equipment or just anything I really need to take anywhere that my Jeep can't go, just go ahead and grab it and bring it to wherever you need. I really like that idea of that. It's not just an organization system for your Jeep. It's for all your stuff that you can carry pretty much anywhere. So, for the smaller bag, it's going to be about a foot long and it has the same exact nice little feature that I liked that you can go ahead and take that off.
The only difference between this bag and the bigger bag is going to be the smaller bag doesn't really have those slots like the bigger one did, but this is going to be maybe for more of a bulky one big item or something like that.Regardless, there's so many different things we can put it in here. It all just depends on what you all like to do. So, put that to the side, and we actually do have other mesh ones here. So, again, if something's maybe a little damp or something like that or whatever, we have more storage here, which is going to be nice. I really do like the track system that they have here.
It's extremely hard plastic, so it really is going to hold up over time and it slides really, really nicely as you guys can see there. But all in all, I was really, really impressed with how it installed. It was super, super easy to do. So, let's just go ahead and run you through that process. To start the install, pretty much all we got to do is just take this panel off. I found it to be the best to start from the top, of course. Pretty much what we're going to do there's going to be tabs. One here, here, here, here, and here. Pretty much just kind of squeeze it down because, as you can see, this hook kind of comes up, so as you push it down, it'll come out of that little slot, and you're going to have to give a little bit more pressure, kind of pulling out. I do recommend sliding your hand down so you're not just really yanking it from far away. Gives you a little bit more leverage and it'll prevent anything bad from happening, and then look. Check it out. We're done. So, put that to the side. Now, we're going to go grab some hardware.Next step we have to do is just go in that little baggie with all the little hardware and stuff, and you're going to find a bunch of these little anchors here. So, we're going to put them in the top little holes there. They're a really tight fit, so be ready to push on them a little bit, and make sure they go in there nice and even, just like that. I'm going to do that for the remaining right here. Next thing, we're going to take this little section here and you will notice we do have some holes, so that's where the screws are going to go. You can do it in a couple of different ways. I usually like to just get them through there first just so I'm not fighting the fabric really. Put it in there, give it a couple of turns, just so we have something sticking out the other end to be able to find the anchor point right here. So, we'll do that. Start on whichever one you think's best, and these are self-tappers. If you can run it in with your hands, I suggest doing it.I don't really like using power tools for this kind of stuff, especially since we're drilling into our car. So, that's pretty much it. We're going to go ahead and do the rest of them until they're all tightened down. They really don't have to be extremely tight. You don't want to really de-thread the little anchor point in there since it is made of plastic and the screw is not. So, I suggest just using hand tools and getting her done. Once you're done with that, the next steps are really, really easy. So, we're going to take the smaller bag of the two. I have two right here, and take the smaller one, and on the back, you can see this little ridge here. So, that's going to slide onto this ridge. So, on this side, it's open, so that's what we're going to go on.Get in there, slide it on just like that, and what we could do either before or after, it's just all up to you, depending on how you want to do it, inside we're going to have these little dividers, so they're going to be tapered. So, as you can see, it's taller on this end than it is on the other end, and then if you open up the bag, you're going to see the taller end is towards the back. So, that's kind of how we want to have it right here. But what we're going to do is slide it from underneath. So, underneath, we're going to have a hooking loop strip. Can't really see it, but it's there. Trust me. So, pretty much you just slide these guys in there just to give a little bit of structure to the bag.Once we do that, we want to make sure you have the right side, slide it in there, and you'll feel that hooking loop latch onto it. So, do that for both sides. We're going to go ahead and slide it on in there. Perfect. Nice little shape to it. You can slide it on in there. We're going to do the same exact thing for the bigger bag. It's really the same exact installation as you just saw here. Once the bag's all in the track and ready to go, just take this little flap here, click it on there because now we don't have to worry about it sliding out. Well, everyone, that just about does it for a look at the best top rough rider custom vehicle organizer for your Jeeps, and I'm Adam with etrailer.

Made of all-climate Jeep soft top fabric, this durable organizer turns your tailgate into extra storage space. Two large bags and a mesh pocket securely attach to the inside of your tailgate. And you can easily remove the bags to carry them with you.The bags have held up themselves well. Overloaded and stuffed full. The stitching is still in pristine condition. The attachment point to my Jeep tailgate is lacking. It’s just a plastic rail that the bags hang on. It bends and the bags can fall off. Also there is a small snap that. Retains both bags and that pops open way too easily. A proper clip would work better than a snap. Rail should be made of metal.
Easy install, holds a lot of stuff securely.
Being black (my jeep is red) it is kind of like camouflage... Hard to see just walking by.
Didnt mention subwoofer being a problem
Exactly as advertised. Easy installation
Great quality, easy to install
Good product it took 15 min to install.
Works great
Have put to use in back of Subaru Outback with bicycling gear. Has fabric cover to hide about 1/3 of space. Has dividers to section off 3 sections to whatever size you desire. Can also be moved easily from one vehicle to another since it has handles at the long ends. Had been in search of collapsible bins, but found this, which also can be folded down when not in use.
Fit's very well on the seat back, tie downs hold in place so it does not swing or droop. Pockets could be larger, my only negative comment.
Seems well made, it is not made for the 4-door Jeep, I'll be using it with the back seat down, and have to rig bungee chords to secure the front of the bag from flopping around - I need the storage so I'll make it work.
Worked great in jeep. Now storage in RAM under backseat.
Great product. I like the quality build and the fact that you can strap it down to the bottom of the seat. I would definitely purchase etrailer branded items again.
Works well front to back behind second row seats in the '15 Yukon. When 3rd row is up it will fit along the back and anchor on either side. Just what I was looking for.
High quality product! Very pleased to have it in our BMW X-5, it is a perfect fit.
