Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ole Miss two inch hitch cover from AMG. This hitch covers going to allow you to show your school pride. Its going to add a clean finish look to your hitch and it's going to help keep dirt and grim out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch covers going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder coat finish which is going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. Here on the front we're going to have a chrome-plated metal emblem. It's going to feature a nice rustproof and fadeproof design.
The product is made right here in the USA. On the backside it's got a foam gasket that slides over the shank. That's really going to help reduce rattle between the hitch cover and the hitch. This is an officially licensed product. To get it fully installed it does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. Those items are sold separatly but they can be found right here at etrailer.com if you're in need of one. The pin holes on this hitch cover will accept a standard five-eighth inch diameter pin.
A few measurements to go over with you real quick. The overall width is going to give us a measurement of about five inches. The overall height is going to give us a measurement of about three and a half inches. The distance that we have from the back of the foam pad to the center of the hitch pin-hole, that's going to measure pretty close to two and a half inches. Now this is designed for a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. Simple installation.
All you got to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up your pin holes and then secure it with the hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. That's going to do it for today's look at the Ole Miss two inch hitch cover from AMG.
