InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This locking pin has a shear strength of 45,000 lbs.
The InfiniteRule locking pin is used to secure your hook to your bumper mount. This allows your InfiniteRule lock to be used for towing and off-road activities such as rock crawling, mudding, and recovery. The safe working load limit is 15,000 lbs.
The flush-style design prevents the lock from being broken or pried off your bumper hook. The tapered head provides an additional layer of theft deterrence by preventing a would-be thief from being able to grip the lock with pliers or a wrench.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the InfiniteRule Security Locking Pin. This allows you do secure a D-ring to your vehicle. It's compatible with AMI D-rings. Now internally, there's an O-ring, which is designed to keep water, dirt and grime out of the lock mechanism to ensure years of use. This is a real nice, heavy duty locking pin. To move it to the unlock position, we need to take the dust cap off the end of the lock body.
It just protects the key slot and keeps dirt and grime out of there. Take a key, place it in, start turning it counter clockwise. We have to do this because it's on a threaded pin, which is an increase in security.Right here is the O-ring we we're talking about that keeps water, dirt and grime out of the lock mechanism. But, I also wanna point out that this unit features a key like option, which offers convenient one key operation. What that means is lock inaudible 00:00:56 can be made to match other InfiniteRule security locks.
To lock everything back in place, you put the lock body back onto the pin, make sure the key's installed and start turning it clockwise, because again, it's on a threaded system. Once it's tight, you can remove the key and replace the dust cover.That's a nice, heavy duty steel construction, very reliable, strong and durable, nickel finishing, does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion, load limit is 15,000 pounds, it's made in the USA, overall length measurement from end to end is about 4 1/2", inside pin length, inside edge to inside edge, measure about 3 5/8" and then, the pin diameter is 7/8 of an inch.That's gonna do it for today's look at the InfiniteRule Security Locking Pin.

I wish I saw or was told to get the correct length. I searched locking pins and found the ones that were for shackles and tow bars. After they arrived I found that they were longer than needed. Then I went back on your website and found the correct length (for blue ox 2-5/8). I called and was told that they would work the same and be safe. I’ll be trying them out in a few weeks.
Not necessarily a problem with the actual item, but the diameter is too large to fit the 5/8" pin-hole of my Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar and receiver hitch and I was unable to try it.
