With its black Cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a stainless steel double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a stainless steel 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 Hitch with 2-Ball Mount for your two-inch trailer hitch receiver. This 180 hitch is going to slide into your two-inch receiver and it's going to give you a two inch and a 2 5/16 inch double-sided stainless steel tow ball. So, that's going to make switching tow ball sizes very easy for you, so you can tow different types of trailers, whether that be a small utility trailer, or a camper or a boat trailer. This dual functionality is going to help eliminate the need for you to have multiple hitches. This is also going to give you a maximum drop in this orientation of four inches, and then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum rise of five inches with an incremental height adjustment of one inch.
So, this is going to give you that height adjustability that you're looking for so you can tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle. So, when you use the 2 5/16-inch hitch ball, you're going to get a gross towing weight of 12,500 pounds. With the two-inch ball, it'll be 8,000 pounds, and you're gonna get a maximum tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. Now let's take a closer look at this hitch. This hitch is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability.
This black Cerakote finish is a ceramic coating that provides an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So, not only does this finish make this hitch look good on the back of your vehicle, but if you tow in harsh environments, such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to help keep the hitch looking good and functioning properly for many years to come. Now, this does feature a dual-pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball sizes very simple. And let me give you a brief demonstration of that. I'm gonna go ahead and take one of these keys here, stick it in the lock, give it a turn, and then that's going to allow me to easily remove this.
And by the way, on our dual-pin slider lock here, the pins and the housing are aluminum, and of course, we have that Cerakote finish here on the head of this lock, and then the lock itself is plated steel, so this is going to do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion, and you saw that we do have that rubber cover here that's going to protect that keyway. But if you notice, this is going to be very easy to adjust the height, you're not gonna have any issues whatsoever. And then I'm gonna go ahead and flip this over to the two-inch ball, just like that, and then I'm gonna go ahead and replace our dual-locking pin. So, that's just going slide right into place right there. So, as you can see, you're not gonna be at the back of your vehicle struggling to get the adjustment that you're looking for.
Everything's gonna operate very smoothly. Then I'm just gonna replace that cover, and then our keyway is going to be protected. Now, we also have, which is a great option with this hitch, we have this hitch pin lock that's going to secure this hitch to the back of your vehicle. And you do have four keys here as you see, and these keys are gonna be keyed alike, so you just need one key to operate everything here. So, let me go ahead and insert that key in, give it a turn, and then that's going to allow me to remove the pin from the head of the lock. Now, I did wanna show you what I really like about this is you do not need to keep the key inserted into the head of the lock here to lock this back up. So, as you saw, I turned it back to the locked position, replace the key, and then all you have to do is push firmly just like that, and then you'll be locked back into place. So, very easy functionality, very easy to get this set up the way that you want it. And if you we inchesre wondering about some measurements, I did take some before our time together. So, measuring from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, we're sitting right at about 8 1/2 inches on center. If we move to that second hitch pin hole, we're sitting at about 9 5/8 inches on center, and then from the center of our second hitch pin hole to the end of our shank, about 1 7/8 inches. This is SAE J684-certified and VESC regulations V5-compliant. So, if you are looking for a hitch that's going to really be a great long-term investment that's going to give you versatility, it's going to give you safety and offer durability and ease of use, this hitch is going to be really a great option for you to consider. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
Nice hitch, solid. Keys for pin and lock are keyed the same, so thats cool. 10" drop for my 2026 2500hd Silverado. Was probably more then I needed, 8" would have been close.
One thing with the 10" drop. The bottom is about even with the duel ball set up anyway, looks nice when stowed(reversed).
