Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this Weigh Safe aluminum recovery hook for two-inch hitches. It has a 25,000-pound maximum load capacity. Now this recovery hook will let you attach a recovery strap for use in agricultural, industrial, or recreational applications. As you see, it is a nice, sleek, lightweight design so it doesn't sacrifice any strength. And, as we mentioned, the maximum load or breaking strength on it is 25,000 pounds.

It is a hitch-mounted design. It installs into your two-inch hitch receiver, ensures a nice, quick, simple installation and removal. Now if you notice, it has two hitch pin holes that are about an inch apart, center to center. Now the hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock that'll secure this to your hitch receiver is not included. You would have to supply that.

It does use a 5/8-inch diameter hitch pin and clip or hitch lock. Now this recovery hook is made from an aircraft-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum. It's very lightweight and corrosion resistant. Again, application, this will fit a two-inch by two-inch trailer hitch receiver. Few dimensions on this, if we do the overall length from one end to the other, see it's gonna be right at about 7 1/2 inches long.

The height at the tallest point is gonna be right here in front, three inches tall, and the hook opening, so you can see the measurement here for the hook opening, if we do that, you can see is right at 1 1/2 inches.
