When you want to pull a small trailer, mount a cargo basket, or attach a bike rack, this 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver makes it easy. Rated for up to 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight, it’s built for light-duty towing and everyday use. The square-tube, concealed cross tube design keeps things sturdy and streamlined while giving you the versatility to haul extra gear when you need it.
You don’t need a lift or special tools to get this hitch on your vehicle. The bolt-on design lines up with existing holes for a straightforward install right in your driveway. With the included hardware kit and clear instructions, DIY installers can get it done without welding or cutting. The precision, robotic welding ensures each mount point fits exactly where it should so everything tightens down cleanly.
Built from fully welded steel and finished with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat, this hitch stands up to rust, moisture, and road debris. That durable finish keeps it looking good and performing reliably over time, even after long hauls or foul weather.
Because it’s a Class I 1-1/4" hitch, you can pair it with compatible bike racks or small cargo carriers for quick weekend trips or daily tasks. Whether you’re hauling bikes out for a ride or adding space for extra luggage, the secure receiver opening gives you flexibility without taking over the look of your vehicle.
Ratings & Reviews
The product bolted on perfectly to my 2012 scion tc. No issues. I applied blue loctite for added security but beyond that everything went perfectly.
Worked well for the purpose of a bike rack on my Scion tC.
Great hitch for my bike rack.
I bought this for a 2012 Scion tC after reading several reviews saying the draw-tite one didn’t fit properly. This curt one was a fairly easy install as it just bolts directly on without the need of fishing wire or anything to that nature. I would just recommend you have an extension for the wrench as it was somewhat tricky for me to get the leverage to torque it to spec. I’m also using it for a bike rack and there’s enough clearance that the rack doesn’t hit the back of the car. Overall I would say I’m very pleased with the product so far and I will try to update this review should my opinion change as I get more use out of it.
