Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this 12 inch long lanyard. This is made of a multi strand aircraft cable so this is going to be stronger and more resistant to braking as compared to a single wire lanyard. And this lanyard is going to help keep your hitch pin, lynch pin or snapper pin close by when you're not using it which is going to prevent you from being able to lose those pins. So it's gonna be very convenient for you as you have no doubt. Already noticed, we have closed loops on each end and these loop ends have an opening size of about half an inch by a quarter of an inch.
And this also features a crimped design at the end here of the lanyard. So those crimps are going to hold the cable securely in place while also securing those loops. So you're not gonna have to worry about those loops coming loose or anything like that. Now let me go ahead and lay this out and just confirm that measurement with you. So measuring this from end to end trying to make sure I'm staying in frame there.

They ship it out right away but the US Postal Service delays the package delivery. Just a heads up.
I ordered two small items on December 20. And etrailer got it right out.
The USPS delayed delivery until today January 9.Just a heads up if this happens to you it’s not e-trailer’s fault, it’s the US Postal Service.
Overall quality appears very good. Crimps are good. End eyes could be just a fraction larger so you can make a loop. Bought 5 units and was able to make loops but very tight. Made loops on trailer side to hold hitch pins.
E - trailer is fantastic!! Always great quality parts! They are always available for that question that you might have. The longest I’ve waited for a reply on an email is one hour. And that was during the holidays. The only problem is that they use the United States Postal Service for delivery on some items. The United States Postal Service always delays delivery. E Trailer mailed out my item on December 19, the USPS just delivered it today January 9th. Just a heads up, a trailer ships it out on time it’s the USPS that drops the ball. As you all know that the US Postal Service is to blame for the delay delivery and not a E trailer..
As advertised, exactly what I needed, works great. Service was superb, communication perfect!
Factory utility trailer tail gate latch lacked quality control. Could not pull gate pin far enough to release the gate. Removed the spring and added a hitch pin to keep the latch from dropping the gate bouncing down the road. Lost a few pins, found some in the wash machine, got these cables and the pins stay at the trailer where their supposed to be. Took 10 seconds to attach, not theft proof but they work!

Been securing the trailer ball latch with a bolt or a piece a wire. The bolt disappears on a regular basis with different folks helping. Now I just have to keep track of the trailer because the pin is permanently attached. Thank You

These lanyards are excellent for tethering hitch pin clips which always seem to disappear at the most inopportune times. The cables are strong and good quality. Good buy.
I use this on my trailer tongue toolbox to keep the lid from blowing away. Works perfect.
Excellent fit. It took less than an hour to install. All of the bolt holes were in perfect alignment. Used a hydraulic jack to do the lifting and a paint can to hold it in place while I bolted it in place. With a small notch for the receiver in the factory trim plate, it looks factory installed.
