Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this undercover access hole cover for your EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver on the Tesla Model Y vehicles. Now, this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2020 to 2023 Tesla Model Y vehicles with or without the factory towing package. Basically, this Tesla tow hitch cover will work with your Model Y for your factory or even an aftermarket hitch.
It's actually included with the EcoHitch which is the aftermarket Model Y trailer hitch kit which we do sell separately at kit code's five part number of X7409. This part here is just for this grab handle. This attaches to your factory trailer hitch cover plate. You bolt it on right here and it makes your moving the panel a breeze so that you can easily access your model Y trailer hitch and cover it up when you're not using it. I did wanna pop up an insert.
You can show you, here's this bracket attached to that cover plate and another insert's gonna show you from behind what it looks like. So basically it allows you to slide that cover plate into your hitch opening and then this magnet right here on the end is what'll hold it in place, keep it from coming out. Makes removing the factory knockout panel easy for access to your hitch port. This is made from an aircraft grade aluminum and the magnet back here that we talked about, it secures with this magnet. It's a rare high strength neo magnet.
This does remain bolted to your factory knockout panel that covers the hitch port. And as we mentioned, it is designed to complement the Tesla. You can see the design they put into it. It is made in the USA, does come with the installation instructions and the Allen wrench tool to be able to install this to the hitch cover. But that's gonna do it for a look at the undercover access hole cover for the EcoHitch stealth trailer hitch receiver on the Tesla Model Y.

Works and looks great for hidden hitch on my 2021 model y. I wanted a way to make this knockout panel easy on off between uses of my bike rack. Also I didn’t like the look of the open hole on the cheaper versions of this sold elsewhere.
