Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this ICON gooseneck lock for your two and five 16ths inch Curt and Bulldog couplers. So this is a heavy duty gooseneck coupler lock that's designed for serious protection of your trailer from theft. And as far as using this, it's gonna be very simple. This is just going to slide over your gooseneck coupler and it's gonna lock into place.
And again, this is specifically designed to fit your two and five 16ths inch Curt and bulldog cast gooseneck coupler. So as long as you have one of those, this is gonna fit right in place on your screen. I threw up some pictures there, showing you this lock in action. What makes this really stand out is the way that it's built to resist common break in methods like cutting, drilling or prying. It actually has a patented thin design that's gonna make it really tough for power tools to get any grip or do any damage.
Lemme give you a brief demonstration of how easy this is gonna be to use. So you have four keys here and all four keys obviously are gonna work on the lock. I'm just gonna take this bolt here, unscrew it, that seals the key way there. I'm gonna take one of the keys here and stick it into the lock like so. And then I'm gonna give it a turn.
And if you notice, that's what's going to allow this to come down. And so then I'll fit this over the coupler and then I'll push that up into the the coupler and then I'll just turn that key to lock it into place. And then I'll replace this bolt here. And that's going to be just how easy this is going to be to get into action here. Let me get that threaded in there.
There we go. So again, that's gonna protect that keyway. And then this is going to stay locked on your coupler and it's going to keep it from getting tampered with. So this whole thing is made from hardened cast steel. It's not something that someone's gonna be able to easily break or force open. It also uses a high security disc retainer lock, which is gonna be a more advanced locking system. That's gonna be much harder to pick compared to standard locks. Another nice feature is that the lock body, as we already saw, is sealed. So dirt and water and debris are gonna be less likely to get inside and mess around with the mechanism over time. So that's gonna be especially useful if your trailer sits outside a lot. But overall, this is really going to be a tough, reliable option for you to consider.
