Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Onan 4,500 watt portable inverter generator running on gas. Now folks, this is a manual start and you can also do a remote start, as well, with the remote. So, whether you're powering your RV, tailgating with your friends, maybe you're boondocking, those kind of things for a weekend escape, this inverter generator is gonna give you serious power in a small, portable, quiet package. Now with 4,500 peak watts at 3,700 running watts, this generator gives you the power to run larger RV appliances like air conditioners, microwaves, and more, while still providing you clean, stable invertor power that's safe for those sensitive electronics, like our laptops, mobile devices and things like that. You're gonna get a funnel along with a little toolkit here, and of course the key fob for the remote start.

And you're gonna have a, kind of like a battery tender cable here. That way you can keep the onboard battery charged whenever you have this in storage. That way it's always ready to go. And of course the oil for the engine. So, I'm gonna go ahead and put them to the side.

You do have an access panel here. If you take off the six or seven bolts here, you can get in here and access the air cleaner and the spark plugs and those kind of things. Now what I like is that it does have the wheels on it and it also has kind of like a luggage style arm here on the front. And as you can see, it's spring loaded and it goes all the way down the base of the unit and it's very nice and robust. And now you can see you have your RV connection right here.

That's gonna be your 30 amp connection. And then you also have a couple of your household plugs. And then of course you got all these different switches. I can change it over, you know, from start, stop, USB attachments. And then you have electronic digital data center here.

And this is gonna give you lots of different output readings and any kind of maintenance things as well. You got some different lights on here for those kind of things as well. So, if you wanna see all those individual things, I don't have time to go over all that in the video, but it's all on the product page. You can learn more about each specifically little thing individually as well. Now for its size, it's pretty impressive as far as how quiet it is. It's only about 52 to 58 decibels when it's running on full power, but that's gonna keep noise levels low so you can enjoy the outdoor without disruption. And if I continue to spin it around, you've got your pull string on this side for manually starting it. Then you have your oil access here, and from here you can kind of see a little bit of that foam. So, that's gonna also help keep it quiet when it's running. And that runs inside the whole unit around the plastic case on the inside. So, that's gonna help keep it quiet. You have a handle up front here for helping to pick it up, one on that side. And of course your fuel cap here on top. And of course it's on wheels so it's easy to maneuver. And then coming around here to the back, we've got our muffler, we've got our battery access panel here. Now these come, as you can see it's not plugged in, so make sure you're following all the instructions when you first get this to set it up as far as hooking up battery, adding the oil, and going through all those checks and safety checks to make sure you're getting everything installed correctly the first time. And that way it's ready to go for you when you need it. Now inside it here, you've got an impressive 224 CCs, four stroke engine. That's gonna give you that reliable performance. And it also features excellent fuel efficiency. So, it does have a larger fuel tank and basically you can expect extended run times up to 18 hours at only 25% loads. That way you can power through the day, power through the night, without having to worry about constantly refueling it. And of course it has a built-in eco mode that's gonna automatically adjust the engine speed to match what your demand is. And that's gonna also help save fuel and reduce noise as well. As far as the remote, it's gonna reach up to 99 feet away. As far as the dimensions here, I got 24 and a half inches long overall, 20 and one half inches tall. And on a width I got 18 and one quarter inches. Folks that will wrap up with our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

  • Does The Onan Generator Quiet Series 4000 CM32ZR Include A Gas Tank?
Hi Lavana! The Onan Generator - Quiet Series 4000 EVAP Onboard RV Generator - 4,000 Watts - Gasoline # CM32ZR does need to have an external/auxiliary tank to tap into to operate (either just a tank like on a 5th wheel, or the gas tank on an RV). It does not have a tank built into it for use, unfortunately. If you check out the included picture, I circled the fuel inlet area. If you are wanting something with an onboard tank, you would need something like the Onan 4,500-Watt Portable Inverter...
