Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Risk Racing Easy Three Utility Jug Kit. This is a three gallon utility jug with the spout and the mount that will allow you to transport your liquids safely and securely. This does have an HDPE plastic construction so it is going to be very highly durable. Now, I do wanna state right at the start that this is not going to meet the ASTM, the EPA, the ARB or other official agency's descriptions of a portable fuel container. So if you we're to use this to transport gas or fuel you may be in violation of your state's laws.

So you do wanna check your state's laws for your legal requirements but this is gonna work great for your non-potable water your antifreeze, engine oil, gear oils, hydraulic fluid and transmission fluid. It's gonna do a really good job for you. It does have the fluid level measurements molded onto the front of the plastic here both in liters and in gallons. So you can see how much you have in there. Know when to fill it back up, or if you are filling it up make sure that you're gonna have enough for your trip.

This is going to have this hardened steel floor mount that will install on the floor of your van trailer or truck bed. It's gonna give you that nice sturdy connection for your jug. Just snaps right in place and then that's gonna prevent your jug from tipping over and spelling that sort of thing. So it's gonna stay in place there. You can also see we've got a little hole here that you can put a padlock through to prevent anyone from coming along and easily taking off with the jug.

Our hose bender spout here is going to be constructed of a very durable HDPE rubber. It's designed to stay flexible over time, so unlike your clear tubes that has become stiff over time this is gonna be pliable for a nice long time for you. We do have the aluminum cap up here at the top that's gonna help prevent liquid spilling out during transport. This does also have this cable lanyard that's gonna prevent you from losing the cap, so it's always gonna be handy. But then you also have the added benefit of having that hook there and when you hook the cap in that hook, it's going to create a great bend for your hose that's going to keep it static, so you're not gonna have to worry about wrestling it to get it put in place or having it fling out when you become disconnected.

So that's gonna create a nice consistent bend for easy pouring and lots of predictability for you there. We also have the stability hook that's located at the end of the spout and that will rest on the lip of your fill container to help stabilize the jug while you're pouring. Our hose bender stop does have a three quarter inch threading. On the top of that is a flange that is going to trap the eye trial O-ring in place. So when you tighten that down that O-ring is going to be pressed in so you're not gonna have to worry about any leaks there. When you get this, it does come with the cap plugged so you're gonna have that red plug there. You can reinstall that if you are going to be transporting this. You don't want to have the hose bender installed. You can very easily put that plug back in place. It'll tighten down for you or you can transport it with the spout installed. And having that O-ring there is gonna prevent any leaks so you don't have to worry about that. This does have a really nice ergonomic design that's going to provide three different handles. So you can very easily pour this, have lots of control over it on the back or top handle on the backside and we are going to have this aluminum breather. And that is going to allow you to adjust the venting, the flow of air that's being led in. This will not come detached, can't pull it out so you're not, don't have to worry about losing it. It's also got an O-ring there, so as you tighten it down you're not gonna have to worry about that causing leaks either, and it is far enough away from your spout that you're not gonna have to worry about any leaks while you're pouring that out. As far as our dimensions go deciding where you can mount this where it's gonna be best stored for you. If we do have our spout installed our overall height we're looking at approximately 27, 27 and a quarter of an inch tall. Our body, if we just include the plastic portion here we're looking about, call it 11 inches. If we include spout, it's sitting closer to about 12 and a half inches. And then our width, we're right about six and a half, call it six and five eights of an inch wide. So overall this is gonna be a great option. I really like the ability to mount this in place so you don't have to worry about it tipping. It's giving you a nice secure way to transport your fluids. So that completes our look for today.
