Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with this functional, custom floor mat. Rear liner has a rigid plastic core for durability, and its unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.

Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today on our 2011 Ford Taurus, we're going to be taking a look at the Weather Tech second row auto floor mat in tan, part number W-T-4-5-2-7-0-2, also available in gray, part number W-T-4-6-2-7-0-2 and in black, part number W-T-4-4-2-7-0-2. Here in the rear we've got these floor mats. The factory floor mats are very similar to those in the front in that they don't give us a whole lot of coverage and they allow dirt, debris and other things to get onto the carpet underneath. You'll see that they just stop right here, so it's just down in the pan of the floor is the only area that these protect. They don't protect the sides at all or up onto this hump. Now, let's take our rear floor mats out and install the Weather Tech. Take our Weather Tech mats, just slide it into place here.
As you can see, this is one solid piece so it forms one floor mat all the way across here in the rear of the vehicle. With this one you can see there's much better coverage up around the edges and, especially, what's nice about these that you don't get with those factory floor mats is the coverage over the hump that's in the center. With this coverage being molded into each side, that's going to allow anything that's up here to just fall down and collect down here in the main part of the floor mats. These channels and ridges allow us to better control anything that may collect down in here, along with keeping our feed up off of what has collected in the channels themselves. All around the edges, we've got a very nice contour that comes up the sides a little bit in order to help control and keep anything on this floor mat as opposed to going off onto the sides and getting onto the carpet.
It also contours very nicely to the curves of the floor of the vehicle. In order to clean the floor mats, you simply remove them and you can clean them with soap and water and either air or towel dry them or you could also pick up the Weather Tech cleaner and protector kid, part number W-T-8-L-T-C-3-6-K. That's going to complete our look at the Weather Tech second row floor mat in tan, part number W-T-4-5-2-7-0-2 in our 2011 Ford Taurus.
