Video Transcript for DIY Install: WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats on your 2023 Ford F-150

All right. Matt with etrailer. And today we're talking about the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats in our 2023 Ford F-150. Now this will be a great option for you if you wanna keep the inside of your vehicle a lot cleaner, and it's gonna be a lot really easy actually, just to clean these off when you're done with them. So let's check 'em out. We'll kind of show you what this is gonna look like when my feet are in here.

As you can see, this is how you're typically gonna sit down. You can see we have a lot of coverage behind the pedal, so if anything comes off your shoe, it should be caught in the mat. And any debris caught in this mat is probably gonna be directed to these channels, and those channels are designed to help keep your feet away from any of that debris. And you'll notice this is already getting kind of scuffed up some, but cleaning it is really easy. Like I was talking about earlier, me just with my bare hand is already getting a majority of that off.

So if you come by with a damp rag, you'll get a majority of it. And taking 'em out, super easy. Just take it, dump it out, maybe wash it off and put it right back in, and it'll look as good as new. This thing is pretty rigid. Me just holding it like this, you'll notice it's not really flapping around a whole lot.

If I wanna bend it, actually gotta put some pressure behind here, and it'll start to flex then. Well it's gonna give this material, there's more sturdiness to it. There's gonna be this process, how it's made, and this is made from thermal forming. And how that is created is it's gonna make it have a more rigid core to it as opposed to the HP series which is gonna be injection molded. And that's gonna have more of a flexible, it'll be a lot more floppy, just a lot more easier to handle.

Getting 'em in is super easy. All we have to do is slide this into place, and the contours of the mat are gonna fit around our vehicle. In some cases, you will have some nibs that these two holes would go into. Now a lot of times on the passenger side you won't have any of those, so this would just slip right in. As you can see, this just takes just a few seconds to put in. Already looks very factory. And just the way that fits around all the contours we have is really nice. There's a few spots. There are some gaps. That's not too bad. That's actually gonna fix with over time 'cause what's gonna happen is when you keep your feet in here, that's gonna help push things down. And on those hotter days, that's gonna help loosen up that material to fit around the contours more. It's gonna be a one-up to your factory floor mats. 'cause as you can see, when I place this on top of our WeatherTech floor mats, we're already getting a ton of more coverage, especially in the back. And now we have these high sidewalls which is gonna catch anything hat would fall and get underneath your regular floor mat. So, overall, the WeatherTechs are gonna help catch a lot more debris. But, overall, if you're looking for something or if you're working a lot, and you get a lot of dirt, mud, or snow on your shoes, and you wanna keep the inside of your vehicle a lot cleaner, this is gonna be a great option for you.
