Hi everyone. I'm Evangeline here at etrailer. If you're looking to upgrade the floor mats inside your 2025 Honda HRV, we're taking a look at our WeatherTech high profile, or HP floor mats. These are gonna offer great coverage inside your vehicle. Awesome for if you're just going about your day, or if you're going on these big adventures on the weekends. This contains all the mess so you don't have a larger mess to cleanup.
I always consider WeatherTech floor mats as the first option just because of their custom design. You can see here inside our HRV's passenger front area, how it just contours around all the different contours of the vehicle and just makes for a great fit. To compare, here we have our factory cloth floor mats, so you can already see the difference in coverage from the V cloth floor mat and the V WeatherTech mat. But a big thing too with the HP, or high profile design, is definitely gonna be that sidewall versus the flat design of the factory mat, where dirt and debris can still go to the sides. The WeatherTech floor mat design works kind of like a bowl where it contains all the mess.
You're gonna have different grooves here on the top to just funnel in all that water and moisture. And then underneath, you have these nibs, which are designed to bite into the upholstery, making that better fit. And then to add some support, you can see these little struts throughout the floor mat to give you that structure. To install, first, take out your old mats. Then I do recommend vacuuming, or cleaning your vehicle before you put in your new mat.
So for the passenger side, it's super simple. You just drop it into place and it immediately settles into the area. For the driver's side, exact same concept, except once you do put it into position, these work with the twist tops of your Honda, and this is just an extra safety precaution to prevent the driver's side mat from going towards the pedals. This will keep everything in place. Here's what the driver's side looks like.
You can see in the high profile walls where if you have your feet on the pedals, usually dirt falls down over here. This mat is there to catch it. Same thing goes for our resting spot here on the left, and you have some extra stability or support there, too. And then the walls also go up towards the threshold of your Honda so that any dirt coming in from the side is also taken care of. This floor mat is available in two color options. You can get this in black or in gray, like what you see here. Here at the shop, we have different opinions on which one looks best, so if you wanna chime in and let us know which one you prefer for your own vehicle, leave us a comment. Send in a review. Sending in pictures helps people figure out what's the best fit for their vehicles, too. Hopefully in this video, you're able to see how the high profile, or high wall format really provides that large coverage and works as a bucket containing all the messes, making it easy to clean, and is gonna be a great upgrade for your vehicle. You saw this right here at etrailer as a custom fit for a 2025 Honda HRV.
