Video Transcript for DIY 2021 Kia K5 Installation for the WeatherTech HP 2nd Row Rear Auto Floor Mat

How's it going everyone Today we are going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech second row rear auto floor mats. We're gonna see how they fit on our 2021 Kia K5. It's gonna be a nice easy way to replace your factory floor mats and keep the inside of your car a little bit cleaner. Before we get this mat installed I wanted to take a quick look at the backside. Here you see how it's gonna be held in place with these anti-skid nibs. So we have our factory mats out of the way.

We have our seats pushed all the way forward and now it's just a matter of getting in here and finding where this fits against our center console here and just pressing it down into place. Here on the other side we're just going to make sure we get it under and around the seatbelt holster here to finish up fitting it inside the vehicle. We can take a closer look at the overall fit of the mat. So these are the high wall design and you see that wall going all the way around. The fit is really, really nice.

It's actually very true. There aren't very many gaps at all, if any, even coming up here to the centerpiece. We have pretty much full coverage of this part as well. And honestly that seatbelt holster spot is a really nice feature. Tucks behind there perfectly.

I don't see any issues with the fit or any gaps whatsoever. With the high walls working with these ridges and channels that's going to funnel all sorts of dirt, debris and liquid away from your feet, away from areas where they could escape the mat and keep them in a position where you could either just towel dry them or vacuum up any sort of dirt or debris. Or you could just remove the mats and spray them down with a hose and put 'em back in. Mat is going to be made of a durable thermoplastic material so it's going to be really good at holding up over time to people getting in and out. Maybe you have kids back here, maybe you have a dog or pets that are gonna be making a mess pretty frequently.

You want something that's gonna hold up to that challenge and it gets really really nice coverage and it's really good fit overall especially 'cause we do have that one piece design. So as far as the fit goes on our Kia K5 here I think the WeatherTech second row rear auto floor mats are a really nice choice.
