Installed this in our 2017 Mercedes Benz NCV3 Sprinter Passenger van, and a year later we're pretty happy with it.
The mat is custom cut for the cargo version of the Sprinter. If you're installing it in the passenger, you'll need to cut it to accommodate for seat mounts, heaters, and other things not present in the cargo version.
I did this by first fully removing the vinyl flooring in the van, and using that vinyl sheet as a template to cut the mat for the additions. The whole process took about 2-hours.
I chose to reinstall the mat on top of the vinyl flooring in the Sprinter. This was no problem for the more robust fasteners, e.g., cargo tie-downs and seat attachment points. They bolt down, and simply compress the mat underneath for a really custom, good looking fit.
Smaller screwed-in trim pieces and flashing were a bit more of a hassle. I had to replace the factory screws with some longer ones, and still never got a satisfactory fit in some cases. Still, all-in-all installation was a breeze.
Performance after a year has been pretty solid. The carpeting does great with dirt, mud and sand. However, anything pointy and small, like pine needles, can get really tangled in the carpeting.
I'd say it's performance for snow and water is a 5/5, while performance for pine needles and other debris is a 2/5.
A year after installation, it's holding up pretty well. No damage, but some pilling in high traffic areas. Overall, it's not perfect, but I don't know that there's a better option out there. For the price, it's a great value.
really nice mat/carpet. the cut outs are spot on. and my additional cutting was not difficult. at minimum u will need to cut out the step for the big sliding side door on the Sprinter. the mat is highly recommended.

Seriously awesome product. It fits perfectly in the van, with the underside matching the channels in the van floor. This thing protects the metal floor from dents, dings, scratches, but also makes sliding things in and out much easier. The rug is seemingly waterproof and extremely durable. The material, though not necessarily soft, is tough and surprisingly un-scratchy. This was important because we use the van as a camper as well as hauling.
Well made, durable, and plush! It has cut-outs to access in-floor tie downs, and these cover up to be nearly undetectable when not in use. The padding is about 3/4” thick, and springs back into shape if compressed. I rolled a Honda Goldwing onto the padding in my van, travelled about 1000 miles, and when I backed it out, the padding was like new with no tire impressions.
Offers great cushioning for camping and protects the bed from scratches, spillovers, and dents. It does everything as advertised and it’s a perfect fit too! Money well spent!

Great product! Would give it a 5 but since I have a passenger Sprinter I had to do a good bit of trimming around the 1 row of seats I left in, and the floor heaters. Once I was finished it looked great!
Works as intended. I used this mat for a campervan conversions. Has worked well for my purpose. The carpet does seem to “bur” up, like little fuzzies on high wear areas but it’s not a problem. Would buy again.
I ordered a Metri van mat, this is for a larger van.. Probqbly a large Mercedes van!!!!
I used this as carpet in our camper van. It was great for awhile. After 6 months the foam is giving out and we are falling in the ridges. Plus the carpet is balling up. For use in a workers van it would be great. But for a home on wheels is so so. Great idea though..
Awesome floor mat! I was skeptical about it being able to sustain heavy palletized loads being pushed and dragged on it but surprisingly the mat stayed in place for all but one load of palletized firewood from Big R. Although the mat was forced to crumple it flattened right back into place after removing load. No damage whatsoever.

Product was not as explained over the phone. It is also clearly made for a cargo trailer and not a 2006 Dodge Sprinter. The picture is exactly what came in the box which does not reflect ribs on the bottom or cutout for entry step. I called in to find out if the stock picture was incorrect and was told that it would indeed have the ribs to contour to the van bed (as is standard for VanRugs) and that it would fit exactly to my van. This is too wide, no cutouts, and is clearly not made for my vehicle. It's been 6 days since sending proof that this doesn't fit and etrailer has not sent me a return slip yet or answered when I can expect refund. Not cool at all for an expensive item.
This cargo van carpet fit just right with a small bit of trimming in the left back corner.. I was able to install the it myself. ( I’m an 81 year old woman with arthritis)
Great Product. Coupled with the strips of Soundproofing I installed it really quieted the "tin echo cargo van" sound. I have the 118" wheelbase Promaster 1500 and had to shorten it which was very easy to do. When I decided to install a plywood flooring, I decided use the VanRug as my permanent insulation between my flooring and the van floor. Very pleased with VanRug both as a stand alone VanRug and as a very good insulation for my plywood flooring.
Couldn't find pic with just the VanRug but you can see edges of it by rear doors. It made insulating the van floor super easy. The original plan was to just use it and I only added flooring to have a base anchor for planned future builds.
Fast easy upgrade and very good sound insulation. Highly recommend. And etrailer's quick ship and service was excellent.
We installed this rug in our 2020 Metris Passenger Van. Unfortunately no rugs are available for passenger van so we bought this one made for cargo van. We cut it to fit. I was slightly disappointed (although not surprised) that the pre-cut holes for tie down rings were in different spots. All-in-all we are very happy with purchase since it is a great improvement over default floor mat - nice look, quieter, allows for sliding objects without causing rips.
Fit like a glove! I had very specific mounting needs so I screwed the bolts in the floor slightly proud of the floor ribs and centered the mat up perfect. Then I struck the mat sharply with a hammer right above the bolts to mark exactly where to hole saw the holes.
Great product! Im slightly skeptical about wearing properties we are not using it a s a work vehicle. A+ guys!
If you work in a multi disciplined work setting this carpet is the way to go. I installed the product on two truck beds and in a sprinter van. Walking and kneeling is much safer and less painful. Soft enough to give comfort and strong enough to hold up in a contractor environment. Stuff doesn't slide on it and rolling every day tool boxes on it isn't an issue. Super light weight and install very easy to do. Add this on top off spray in bedliners or to the metal floor. No regrets here, one off the best products I have purchased in a long time.

Great product just what I needed for my 2005 Chevy van. Goes in easy being pre-cut, but the corners were not cut long enough but not a deal breaker for me. Very nice look and holds things in place.
The mat fit perfectly and has given our cargo van a much needed upgrade for its new service as our personal hauler in Alaska.
