These dual-cone speakers will produce better bass and high frequency sounds than full-range speakers so you have an enhanced, high quality audio experience whether you're hitting the trail in your ATV, rebuilding an engine in your outdoor workshop, or watching a movie with your partner outside your RV.
Come rain or shine, these durable plastic-surrounded speakers will be protected from the elements. If it rains or if you are taking your ATV through areas near the coast, the speakers will resist corrosion when exposed to saltwater. On those hot, sunny days, the speakers won't crack and fade in those damaging UV rays, and the tweeter's ferrofluid design means that they won't overheat.
These versatile speakers can be installed in 2 different ways - hardware isn't included. You can mount the speakers directly onto your chosen mounting surface with the pre-installed swivel bracket, which angles the speakers into many positions. Or you could remove the speakers from the housing and recess them into cutout holes if you want a smaller, more compact design. Once the speakers have been installed, use the wires on the back to hook them up to ground and power.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these Jensen two-way outdoor speakers. These two-way speakers are going to project sound from your TV or stereo on the inside of your RV and allow you to enjoy your time outside while cranking up the music. So this is gonna be great for your barbecues your outdoor movies, workshops, and that sort of thing. These are a dual cone design so they are going to have a frequency range of 90 hertz to 20 kilohertz.
They have the Mylar Dome Tweeter that's gonna increase your high frequency sound distribution, and a 3.5 inch diameter polypropylene louvered cone. That's going to reproduce the base sounds and internal dampening. Now keep in mind that 90 hertz isn't going to give you the lowest sounds on the spectrum. So if you are looking for speakers with a robust, low end I'd recommend a three-way speaker set but this is a two-way set. So it is going to provide better sound quality than a full range speaker.
These do have a 83 decibel sensitivity with a maximum wattage of 60 watts at 4 Ohms impedance. These do have several different ways that they can be mounted. So they come with the included swivel bracket. That's going to allow you to mount these on your walls or on the ceiling. It's very easy to get these set up, in the orientation that you want.
Just putting a screw through the bottom there and then allowing you to get those set to the angle that you'd like. There is also the rear AMPS bolt pattern. That's gonna give you the ability to attach to an AMPS compatible mounting bracket, such as the one that you see on the screen there. So if you'd prefer that method, you can use that. Or you can also remove the speakers from these cups.
That's going to give you a panel mount option. So you can just simply pull out the wire there. You'll probably have to cut it off at some point, but then you'll be able to pass that through the wall and then put the nut on the backside there and tighten that down, up against your panel. So if you have a panel with approximately 3 1/8 inch hole, this will allow you to mount there; more of a flush mount kind of design. If you do choose to use the included swivel brackets here, I'll give you a few measurements. Overall width If we don't include the bolts there on the side, we're looking about 4 1/8 of an inch, just over four inches. If we do include those bolts, if you're trying to squeeze it into a tight spot, I'd give yourself about 4.5 inches to make sure that those bolts aren't going to obstruct it from fitting in. And of course, depending on the tilt we are gonna have different height measurements. So trying to get it at the highest point there, you can see our overall height again, I'd say it's about 4.5 inches up to the top here. And then our depth, max depth, I'm gonna call again about 4.5 inches. So of course, depending on the angle that you have this at, the height and depth might change a little bit. So make sure that you're putting it in a place where it's gonna fit. The mounting hole spacing here, you're gonna have that center opening is about 3/8 of an inch. And then on the outer sides, it's about 1 1/8 center to center there on those outer circle. This is constructed of a durable black plastic construction. So it is going to surround and protect the speaker from damage. It is going to meet the ASTM B117 salt spray exposure standard compliant. It is gonna be compliant with that standard for corrosion resistance. It's also going to be compliant with the ASTM D4329 UV exposure standard. So these are gonna be great outdoor speakers for you to have on your RV. They also have a ferrofluid cooling design on the tweeter cone that is going to help prevent the speaker from overheating. So they are well designed. They're gonna hold up well for you and do a good job of producing that medium range sound so that you can enjoy your music, TV, movies and that sort of thing outdoors. Seems to be a good study unit, installation was easy but did have to rewire existing speakers to make work...newer stereos do not use the old common ground for negative anymore..also added two front speakers in a John Deere 4440. Ralph K.

I purchased a plastic version of these outdoor speakers (I believe a different brand) a year ago. The speaker fidelity was/is fine, but the housings cracked and pretty much disintegrated for reasons I can't explain. (The ones I replaced were six years old but still intact; just sounded bad.) These metal units are lower profile and sound great, so I'm quite satisfied.

Advertised as a JENSEN speaker. But you will get an ASA speaker. Their claim is it’s the same company. I get that. They own each other. But they (ASA-JENSEN) also still manufacture JENSEN branded speakers and ASA branded speakers. So why don’t they advertise as an "ASA Heavy Duty Outdoor Speakers - Recessed Mount - 5-3/4" Diameter - 24 Watts - Qty 2" then?
Volkswagen and Porsche. If advertised a Porsche and you buy the Porsche and you get a Volkswagen, ANYONE would be upset.
Staff is horrible and will not work with you for a simple return. Carol C. passed me to Paula T. Paula sent one message basically telling me to keep them and this is why. The process was similar to that phrase about pulling teeth. I WAS going to buy other speakers from them.
Not only this, but they gave me an order confirmation of arrival for next week. I was fine with that, until I checked status. The status said next month. I got on chat and Victoria H. told me "please be more patient".

I purchased the speakers for my living quarters in my horse trailer. I hung one inside the trailer and one outside underneath the 5th wheel. These speaker put off nice sound. Hoping to buy another pair soon so I can have 2 inside and 2 outside.

I just got these mounted in the headliner of my tractor loader backhoe. They sound good and look good. Just be advised they do not come with any screws to attach the speaker cover to the actual speaker. A trailer could do a better job of packaging. The two speaker boxes or bouncing around in the trailer shipping box when it arrived.

Have a 1994 fleetwood mallard travel trailer with two speakers that were original and blown, bought these for less then 30$ they are rv speakers so they don’t pull a lot of power, and they sound really really good for the price and it’s perfect for camping, if ur not expecting something super flashy this is for u it’s not overpriced and it’s definitely worth the money, sounds clear and there’s more bass than I expected, better than expected, will buy more of these when I’m ready, especially helps that these are the only 5 3/4 speakers I can find for RVs!
The speaker will not disappoint you. Very good sound and has a nice appearance. The only drawback is it does not come with mounting screws.
