Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Victron VE.Direct Cable. Now this is basically a communication cable, not a power cable, and its job is to let Victron devices talk to each other. It's a VE.Direct cable, and this is about 10-feet long. Obviously, I have this coiled up here to keep it nice and tight and manageable on my table.
And this is used to connect your Victron products that have the VE.Direct port like battery monitors, smart shunts, or MPPT Solar Charge controllers to a Victron GX device such as a Cerbo GX or a Color Control GX. Once this is connected, this cable's going to allow system data like battery status, solar performance, and charging info to be shared, monitored, and displayed. That's how users can see realtime information on a GX screen or through Victron's remote monitoring tools.
