This breathable truck cab cover repels water but does not trap moisture. The cover also blocks dirt, grime, and other harmful substances that can destroy paint and helps protect against sun damage. Cable lock secures the cover to your Ram 1500.
Features:
This truck cab cover is composed of 4 layers of non-woven polypropylene fabric to protect your vehicle from the elements. All 4 layers work together to create a barrier against sun, dirt, and water while also allowing air and humidity to escape so that moisture isn't trapped under the cover.
The rugged, spunbond outer layer is naturally water resistant, and it sheds water under normal conditions. The middle layers are constructed of meltblown polypropylene to provide microporous water barriers. If heavy rain forces the cover to absorb a small amount of moisture, the layers will dry quickly by allowing air to circulate through the cover. The inner layer is made of soft, durable material to protect your vehicle's paint.

Jake: Hey guys. It's Jake here with etrailer.Today we're going to be taking a look at. and I'm going to show you how to get in place. the Rampage 4-Layer Crew Cab Truck Cover. This is going to protect the cab of your truck from any of the sun rays, the water, dirt, debris, that might get on it when you're not using it for a long period of time.Inside of this cover is going to have a nice soft material so you're not going to have to worry about it scratching the paint on your vehicle. I would recommend washing your vehicle before you put this on because if you put it on with any dirt or dust or debris on the vehicle, that grime might scratch your paint.
The material's going to be a 4-layer non-woven polypropylene fabric that covers your vehicle to shield it from any of those elements or dust, dirt and debris.Now one thing I like about this cover, is that it's not only going to protect my paint on the outside of my vehicle, but it's going to protect the inside of your vehicle such as your dash, your cloth, your leather, on the inside from the sun or any of those hot rays in the summer so that it doesn't get any damage.The design of the fabric is going to be breathable and water-repellent, which means when it rains, it's not going to trap moisture inside, it's going to let it breathe to dry naturally so that you don't have any mold or mildew buildup on your vehicle. It's going to have these included pockets that you can slide over your mirrors to protect your mirrors also, but if you have towing mirrors, I do recommend folding those in before you put the cover on.It does include this nice cable end-lock so that you can run it through this eyelet and run it underneath your truck into another eyelet on the other side, and this is going to prevent people from removing your cover from your vehicle.As you notice here, we don't have a tall antenna on our vehicle, but if you do have one of those taller antennas, all you have to do is cut a slit in your cover here and they include this snap-in grommet kit. you'll just put the two pieces together and snap them into place. to form a nice grommet to slide over top of your antenna.You might be wondering why doesn't the cover extend the full length of the vehicle Well, this is mainly to protect the cab of the vehicle from maybe any hail or storm damage that might occur to your vehicle when you're not using it. The sides of our truck are going to be protected from those things.
But if you do have a tonneau cover like we do on this vehicle, you can purchase a full-truck custom cover to go on the whole vehicle. If we just put one on the back here without a cover on the bend, it's going to collect water and not do us any good.So all around our cover, our stitching is going to be double stitch, so you're not going to have to worry about it breaking or pulling apart when installed on your vehicle during those high winds. So on the front and the rear of the vehicle, it's going to have a curved pattern, so that you can stretch it around the curves of your vehicle, so that has a nice tight hold. You don't have to worry about it coming off. It also comes with a storage bag so you can keep your cover all nice and neat stored inside of it and you can put it in your garage or on the backseat of your truck.Now that we've gone over some of those features, let's go ahead and show you how to get it installed.Now the key to getting this in place is to not let it hit the ground because you don't want to get any rocks or dirt on the inside of your cover.
So we're just going to unfold it here on our truck bed. You can do it in the floor of your garage if it's clean inside. Just get it stretched out so then you can get it in place. So you will have this tag on the inside that says where the front is supposed to go. So here we have it at the back of our cab and we're going to drag it up and over to get it in place.So the easiest way I've found to get it into place is to stand in the back door of your truck if you're using it on a crew cab and just pull it up the length of your vehicle, making sure you have the correct side.
Push it up onto your windshield and pull it down under your hood. Make sure you've got the right length. Now you can start adjusting the sides.It's going to take some time to get it in place. Just be patient with it. It's actually really quite simple. Pull it over. This curved part here on the stitching should be at the back of your cab and you're putting it in place. It does have these included pockets for your mirrors. You can either fold your mirrors in or you can choose to use the pockets, whichever you like, and just continue to readjust until you've got it all the way around. Another way to know for sure if you have the cover centered or not is this center stitch-line has to go up your hood and your windshield and it's in the center of your vehicle.Now that we've got our cover all in place, we can go ahead and secure it with our included cable. Take the smaller end of the cable, run it up through this grommet that you have already on your cover. Run it through this loop. Cinch it up tight. I will go ahead and throw this other end underneath the vehicle.Now on the other side you can do the same thing. Run it through the loop. And what you're going to want to do, take your included lock, run it to there and then run that cable through it so that cable can't go back through the hole. This is going to lock your cover to your vehicle so somebody just can't come up and remove it. Now with your cover all locked up, your vehicle's going to be safe from any weather, dirt, debris that might get on it when you're not using it.

It is still working great. Its been used about 99 percent of time. No tears. Easy on and off for me.
This is a well made product but I misunderstood that the product was for "Cabs Only" since the description of the product requested the length of the truck bed
This cover was very easy for me to put on my truck. I was concerned about having to burn a hole for my antenna, but using a soldering iron, as you suggested, made it very easy.

I waited a long time to purchase a car cover because the last time I priced them, they were pretty expensive. I should have just kept looking. Finding etrailer.com made buying a car cover a reality and much more convenient. I'm the original owner of a 2004 Crossfire and I have babied my car all these years. Then I found myself in a place with no garage. No garage!? The carport provides a little protection for my car, but not like a garage did. However, this car cover is so bitchin' and is made with high-quality materials and workmanship, I couldn't be happier. It feels good to remove the car cover and see how beautifully it's helping to keep my car...well, beautiful.

I would NOT recommend this product for a 2017 Ford Raptor Crew Cab. The Material and construction are good, but the fit and design have some things I don't like.
FIRST - Recognize that you have to order this cover in 2 parts... one covers only the cab and the other covers only the bed... you must order both parts for a complete truck cover.
SECOND - Both cab and bed covers require you to slide the cover all the way down the gap between the bed and cab... on my truck there is a rubber gasket that makes this challenging and on the passenger side the tire jack well protrudes enough into the bed space as to make it impossible to slide either cab or box cover completely to the bottom of the truck... Installation and removal is a a challenging task... This is not a cover for a daily driver... maybe ok for long term storage.
THIRD - Fit on both covers was not good. The pockets for the mirrors were great, but the cab cover was incredibly tight (even after dealing with item #2) and the bed cover was incredibly loose... I could have had a 6 or 6 1/2 foot bed and it would still cover it (except for not being able to get it over that tire jack protrusion)
So in conclusion I would not recommend this cover in favor of something simpler and better
When I put in my vehicle it suggested this for my 2006 Sebring Convertible. But it doesn't stay on. It is a little too short so the wind just blows it off. Without some kind of motifications it won't work.
Costumer Service and Ordering were great and easy. Shipping was satisfactory and my order arrived in a timely manner. I've have one of these Truck Cab Cover's and am about to retire it from service. It has deteriorated over the10 months I've had it and its time to replace it. If you are expecting a different outcome, I would suggest you look for a better quality cover. But personally, it meets my needs at a reasonable cost.

The cover is quality made, like the color gray and fits my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis like a glove. The only complaint I have is the storage bag is too small. There is no way I can get it back in rolling it up. Originally it was folded probably by a machine into a square shape. I store it in my old bag.
Same thing happened as did the first. It came apart. The sun reflecting back from the covered windshield glass dissolved the fabric!! Leaving the windshield uncovered and the remaining fabric coming apart. Have not been able to use it.
Doesn’t properly fit my 2003 Tundra SR5 at mirrors and front bumper. I make it work with straps but it still balloons in wind.
Car cover doesn’t have mirror pockets, which I prefer, but it is of good quality. Thank you!
Pretty much Fits like a glove. Fabric is thick not flimsy and stitched well and I like the color gray.
This cover has been on and off my project car and still looks great.

cover was an excellent buy and protects my truck very well. still using it..
