Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we'll take a look at this classic accessories duct heat plug for evaporative coolers. Now an evaporative cooler is an eco-friendly and cost-effective way to cool indoor and outdoor spaces. And they're commonly used to quickly cool down garages, outdoor patios, covered porches, warehouses, and more. This is a heat plug that'll prevent drafts from moving through the vent of your evaporation cooler when it's not in use. This is designed for off-season protection only.
As you can see, it is designed to fit up to 18 inch by 18 inch size ducts and it is a friction fit construction, meaning you just push it in and it'll hold itself in place and ensures a nice full, positive seal to eliminate unwanted air movement. Very easy installation, just place it in position to block the vent. If you notice it has a nice fabric on it. This is a hurricane fabric, provides nice excellent resistance to the elements. And this fabric is engineered to be up to 200% stronger and about 80% more water resistant than cotton canvas.
And the cover right here, if you notice can be easily removed for cleaning. Does have a nice natural gray color to compliment any application. And again, the specs on this is going to be 18 inches by 18 inches by about 4 inches thick. But that should do it for the review, on the classic accessories duct heat plug for evaporative coolers..
