Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hopkins Go Gear 7" trash can. This is part number HM72613. That's 7" tall, 6-1/2" wide. As you can see, nice and compact when not in use. Simply pulling the Velcro over it's going to come into its upright position. Deep, large opening.
We've got a nylon exterior. The inside, it's got a PVC treatment or a PVC coating on it that's going to help to contain any spills and also make clean up very easy, so if we wipe it clean, if we get any moisture, anything like that on it. The bottom, you have a hook and loop style fastener. You just pull off the tape there and expose that stick spot and then push right down onto the floor of your vehicle, that's going to give you a great spot to put in those receipts, empty water bottles, pieces of papers. You know how it is, vehicles get cluttered up; this is a really good way to take care of it. Another idea that we came up with, as you can see, we just tucked it in the glove box there; stuck it behind the latch and this is going to get it off the floor. Now, might not be the best idea with a passenger but that'll be as easy as just pulling it out of there and setting it downside.

I love these pop up trash cans for when I teach scrapbooking and paper crafting classes. Perfect size for a table. They are lined too so you can also put wet things in it.
It collapsed and opened as expected for a couple of days. Then, no more collapsible, it's just a trash can.

The little PopUp Trash can works well in our new Forester. It hangs on the glove compartment door and is easy to reach. Ordering, shipping and payment worked very well and was efficient.

Very easy install but you might need to buy a large drive socket for the top bolt. Tip, dont completely detach the fish wire from bolt before you get the nut started to avoid the bolt falling into the tube. Also dont completely tighten the 2 underneath bolts before tightening the top bolt otherwise you may not be able to replace the plastic cover cap.

I bought this trash can to dispose of the seemingly never-ending rain of useless paper that I seem to accumulate. It is not big enough to take soda cans, nor is it waterproof. It would hold one or two empty and collapsed water bottles, plus a little extra.
My intent is to use the supplied velcro patch to stick in on the transmission hump ahead of the bench seat, where it can be reached by driver and passenger. It is the right size and should do the job.
