Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Tailgater Aluminum Tire Table. This table is going to mount onto a tire or wheel of your vehicle or trailer so that you can have a nice solid surface for your food, drinks, tools, that sort of thing when space is at a premium, like at your campsite or while you're tailgating. This is going to provide a 31 inch long by 27 and a half inch wide surface, so it will be great for having a meal or just about anything that you'd want to do, grilling, that sort of thing. I can do a lot on this surface.
Now this is going to fit with almost any car, SUV, truck, or RV tire from 30 inches to 50 inches in diameter. This rear slider is going to open up enough to fit a 20 inch wide tire and then it will go down from there, so it's gonna give you a nice snug fit on your tire. Keep in mind, this is gonna require some clearance between your fender and your tire, so if you have an extremely close fender it might not be enough room for this, but if you have a normal amount of clearance this will do a great job. Very easy to get installed. You're not gonna need any tools, basically just slide this out, put it on your tire, kind of pinch it in, tighten it in, or tighten down the rear slider there so it's got a nice firm connection and then open up the leg here to the height that you need and to give you that level surface.
And you can have this leg bent in, depending on the height or you can have it down like that. So the advantage of having it bent in is that it's gonna give you less chance of kicking it, but depending on the height that you need you can have it vertical like that. If your tire is 32 inches or bigger, you can flip the rear slider here over so that you have more grip, otherwise it is going to fit down, your tire will stop this on the sides. This will be back behind so you're gonna have these legs up the front and then the slider on the backside, and they're gonna be pinching against the tire to give it the stability that it needs. And then the leg is just kind of a support as I have it sitting here on my table.
It's a little bit wobbly, but once you have that tightened down against your tire, it is gonna be very solid for you. This is an aluminum construction, so it is going to be very sturdy for us. It's got a weight capacity of 75 pounds so we can stack a lot of food on here with that weight capacity, but it is meant to be used as a table, not as a seat or a step, so you make sure you're using it accordingly. And then when you're ready to pack up, hit the road again, it's very easy to tear down all the pieces, store inside. So we've got these jam bolts here.
I have them installed on the inside which seems the most convenient to me so they're not sticking out. They do recommend having them on the outside when you're actually using them and then storing them on the inside where I have them. But I think they're easy enough to deal with, reach under the table here so that you can loosen them to adjust them. I don't feel like you really need to have 'em on the outside to operate them but when you're ready to tear down you just loosen those up, slide that portion in, of course you will need to take it off the tire first. We can lift it up here. You can see this leg also has a jam bolt there that will retract in like so, and then these legs that are on the front of the tire, you remove to get stored like so. So it's all gonna stay together and you're not gonna have to worry about losing any pieces. When you have it disassembled like this, it is gonna be about four inches tall by 33 inches long and 28 and a quarter of an inch wide. I included those jam bolt nuts in that measurement there. So you can see those do stick out just a little bit on the sides, so a 28 and a quarter of an inch wide. Because of its aluminum construction it's only gonna weigh about eight pounds. So it is very easy to pick up, carry, take wherever you're going. It has a black powder coat finish on it that is gonna be very durable and rustproof so in addition to that aluminum which obviously isn't gonna rust you have that black powder coat, so it's gonna hold up really well for you for a long time to come. So if you are looking for a way to save space, still have that surface, this is gonna be a really neat way just attaching to your tire, which is already there anyway. And then you are gonna have that surface that you can use for tailgating, camping, that sort of thing. So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
Exactly what we thought it would be--works great!
This thing is awesome. I didn’t want to pay this much for a table but it’s a great table. I’m glad I went with aluminum it is so light but also sturdy.
This is my 2nd tire table. I had the black one first, lent it to my sister and she liked it so much she just gave me money for another instead of my table back. I splurged on the aluminum one because it was lighter and was glad that I did. It's just as sturdy and so much easier to handle.
The table is excellent and very handy. However there was a manufacturing defect with one piece. I called the manufacturer and they did call me back after 2 days and apologized and have promised to send a new part. I am waiting for it to arrive.
This does not change the fact that the table itself is excellent and so very handy while camping from my Jeep.
We use this table when camping with our truck bed tent. It comes in handy for any number of items including a place to set the diesel heater on colder nights. I like the light weight of aluminum and it's easy to store when traveling.
Great table and oh so handy. So much so, we store it in the back of our Jeep 24x7 so we’ve always got it. Quick deployment, sturdy, and trustworthy. Highly Recommended

? Great table, that takes up NO room in the back of our Jeep! While we purchased the table for use with our camper, once I figured out I could flip it upside-down and lay it in the back of our Jeep, it was a no-brainer to usecarry it all the time in the Jeep. Taking up no room, and it makes it easier to keep our offroad gear from moving around in the back. Gear consists of an offroad gear bag ie pull straps, pulleys, recovery rings, tree straps, gloves, D-Rings, etc., wrench roll, tool bag, spare nuts & bolts box, chainsaw, chock blocks, shovelpicksledgehammer, etc. Well pleased with its weight, durability, and quality. Has performed flawlessly for us and is SO HANDY to have when you’re out boondocking for a picnic!
