Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this GSI Outdoors Stainless Steel Glacier Folding Knife. Now, this is a compact folding knife that's really designed with everyday camp use in mind. It's going to be small enough to carry easily, but still sturdy enough to handle common tasks, like cutting rope, opening packages, prepping food, or general campsite needs. Now the blade itself is made of stainless steel.

It has kind of like a satin finish to it, so it's gonna resist rust and it's gonna hold up well outdoors. And this does have a serrated edge, which is going to give you better control and grip when cutting tougher materials, like cord, straps, or fabric. And then, when you open it, the handle locks into place, so you're not gonna have to worry about it folding in on your fingers during use. And then, when you're done, you just lift this lock up, and then you'll just fold it down easily, just like that. So let me give you some measurements here.

When you have this folded down like this, obviously, it's gonna be very portable. We're sitting about 4 1/2 inches or so when it's folded. The blade itself, if you're wondering about that, it's about a little over three inches, about 3 1/4 inches or so. The total length when you have this fully extended is gonna be right at about almost 7 1/2 inches it looks like. So this is going to be able to fit easily in, let's say, like a pocket, tackle box, backpack, or glove compartment, all without taking up much space.

So I think it's gonna be a simple, reliable knife to have on hand. Again, I do like that it locks in place like that. Everything's metal here, so it's gonna hold up really well. It's gonna be very durable. If you happen to have any other questions though, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
