Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco vinyl spare tire cover. This vinyl cover protects your RV's spare tire from dirt, water, sunlight, and corrosion. It's a UV and water resistant fabric that's designed to wick away moisture. The black cover easily wipes clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Here on the back side, you can see how it fits. It's a really nice fit.
It's going to feature this elastic cord that secures the cover around your tire offering a really great, snug, fit. On the inside is going to be a non-scratch lining, very soft. At the end of the second year, the cover was still protecting the tire, the elastic was still good but the white vinyl was cracking and starting to peak. Considering that it was a $20 cover, I thought it lasted a reasonable length of time, considering what the Texas sun can do to almost anything. I replaced it with another Camco cover.
