These tie-downs bolt directly to the frame—the strongest part of your truck—so your camper stays solidly in place even on long hauls or rough roads. With a 2,000-lb capacity per anchor point, they handle heavy campers and top-heavy loads with ease. Because the load sits lower and the weight is spread across the bed, you get a safer, more comfortable ride that feels stable and predictable wherever you go.
These rear tie-downs sit flush with your truck’s underbody for absolutely zero loss of ground clearance. That means you can head down uneven trails or steep driveways without worrying about dragging or catching anything underneath. Whether you’re off-roading or crossing a construction zone, you keep the same clearance as stock.
When you’re not hauling a camper, the anchor points retract completely out of sight. They blend right into the bed and don’t block access or limit what you can haul. You can still use your truck bed for motorcycles, ATVs, or other gear without removing a thing.

Beyond camper use, these in-bed anchors make great tie-down points for other heavy loads. The heavy-duty build gives reliable hold for top-heavy cargo while keeping setup simple. Each kit includes two rear tie-downs and mounting hardware so you can bolt them up and get to hauling.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at these TorkLift ApexAnchors, Frame-Mounted, Rear, In Bed, Truck Camper Tie-Downs. Now, these are custom designed to fit your 2015 and newer Ford F-150 with a 6-1/2 foot bed. And if you notice there on your screen, I do have some other fitment options there for you. So if you have any of those options or none of those options, you do wanna make sure that this is going to be exactly what you need. And the way that you can do that is by using our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com.
Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions that it might have for you, and our fit guide will confirm if this system will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, this is also going to pair with the front tie-downs identified by the model number that you see there on your screen. And then this is also going to require the turnbuckles that you see there on your screen as well. So you can take those model numbers, pop it in the search field of our website, that will take you to those items and you can add them to your order. Now, these are for campers with internal anchor points like the Cirrus, Four Wheel Campers, Travel Lite, and Scout.
So these ApexAnchors are gonna give you a sleek, in-bed tie-down system with no loss of ground clearance. So these are gonna be perfect for off-road setups. And as you probably know, the frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp or bend or twist. And even more importantly, the camper center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. So this avoids a top heavy load that's perched on top of your bed rails.
It's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. And the camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive, it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does with a camper. Now, I do wanna mention if you happen to have a plastic or spray-in bedliner, it is important that you use a rubber mat under that camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing. So here's our anchor points. As you can see, this one is recessed, retracted, and out of the way.
This one I do have extended, ready to use. And you wanna hold onto these plugs because these plugs are going to be essential for not only concealing the anchor point when it's retracted, but also allowing you to lift that anchor point up out of the hole here that it's going to be secured into. So I do have this locked into place, and then when you're ready to retract and you don't need it anymore, you're just going to give it a turn. And then that's going to allow you to then push that down all the way, just like that. And so the anchor point's gonna retract completely and blend right into your truck bed. And so when you're ready to use it, you'll just pull on that cap, and then that's going to pull that up just like that. And then you'll just turn this, and then that's going to secure in place. So again, these rubber plugs are going to be vital. You wanna make sure you're holding onto 'em, maybe somewhere in the cab of your truck when you're using the anchor points so that you can then replace them in the anchor point when you are ready to push that down and get it out of your way. So all of the rest of the tie-down is below the bed. And not only do these tie-downs not restrict the use of your truck bed when you're not camping, you can even use them to haul other gear, like motorcycles, ATVs, or other top heavy loads. So these are heavy duty. They have a 2,000 pound capacity per anchor point. You are going to get the hardware that you need and instructions to guide you through that installation process. If you do pick the system up, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with installing this and using it so you can share your experience with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. And if you have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
