Chains can loosen and exposed handles can invite tampering when parked. This ratchet binder delivers 12,000 lbs of holding power with a fold-over handle and 1/2" slip hook ends, keeping chain connections tight while driving.
Heavier loads require higher-rated hardware to stay secured in motion. This binder carries a 12,000 lbs working load limit, matching higher-capacity chain setups used for larger equipment. With the proper rating in place, the connection holds under load and maintains tension while driving.
Handles that remain upright can move during transport or be accessed when parked. The forged handle folds down against the binder, limiting movement and reducing exposure. That keeps the setup compact and positioned during use.
Some setups require quick connection to chain or fixed points. The 1/2" slip hook ends connect directly to compatible links and anchor points without additional hardware. That keeps the chain engaged and ready for tensioning.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Durabilt Ratchet Binder with completed Fold Over Handle. Folks, this is gonna feature 1/2-inch slip hook ends, and this has a working load limit of 12,000 pounds capacity and a proof load rating of 24,000 pounds. Now, zooming in here and taking a look at it, the barrel, this main red part here, that's gonna be 10 inches long. The take up is a toll of eight inches.
So, you have four on this screw, four on this screw. And these are one-inch diameter ACME screws, and they're gonna deliver strong, consistent clamping force. And like I said, this folds over for whenever you're not using it. It's gonna help keep gear and stuff out of the way or keep this out of the way rather. And then, of course, fold it over whenever it's time to, you know, lock it up.
You can put a lock through here, sold separately or when it's time to fold it up, put it back in the toolbox. Now, it's gonna take up a very small footprint in the toolbox. Now, this handle is 14 inches long overall when it's fully extended. And I mentioned that the ACME screws are one inch each, and of course they just thread in and out just like your standard chain binders do. And this is a great option for you.
Again, when you're tying down those heavy duty things, whether it's tractors, skid steerers, whatnot, and you know those kind of accessories. And again, this is a tamper proof design with the lockable hole up here at top. So, what you would do is you get a long padlock, come through here and then go through your chain link, and that's gonna keep anyone from being able to open it back up once you get everything tightened down, and it's gonna keep anti-theft and people from messing with your stuff. Now, again, these are gonna connect easily to chains, D-rings, maybe even slings, depending on what you're doing. I don't know, but obviously, probably chains most likely.
So this is the Durabilt Ratchet Binder with Fold Over Handle with 1/2-inch Slip Hook Ins. I'm Steven. As always, reach out if you have any further questions and have a great day.
