Bike toward the shore with your kayak, SUP, or board in tow. The Thule Reacha Sport Beach trailer handles uneven paths and deep sand with fat tires, then transforms into a hand cart for the last stretch, making shoreline access more convenient.
If you've ever wished you could reach the water without relying on a car, the Reacha Sport Beach is built for that kind of day. Tow your kayak, SUP, surfboard, or wing foil behind your bike to skip the parking hassle, then switch to walking when the ride ends. For coastal or lakeside camping, it becomes a reliable shuttle between your site and the shoreline, carrying everything you need in one trip.
The extended drawbar adjusts to carry gear up to 14' 9" long, and the trailer supports up to 77 lbs by bike and 132 lbs as a hand cart. With side rails (bows) included for stability, it keeps long or stacked loads secure on uneven ground. And because the frame uses snap-lock connectors, assembly and breakdown are tool-free and take only a few minutes.
Bike routes don't take you all the way to the shoreline, but the Reacha Sport Beach is ready for that final approach. Once you disconnect from your bike, it becomes a stable hand cart built for the soft, uneven terrain that usually slows you down. The wide, low-pressure fat tires stay on top of deep sand and loose ground, helping you move your board, boat, or a full load of family gear with far less effort.
For all its hauling power, the Reacha Sport Beach still folds up small. The snap-lock connectors make disassembly quick and tool-free, and once the frame is apart, it folds into a compact bundle one person can carry. It fits easily in a closet, car trunk, garage shelf, or camper, making it ideal for road trips or weekly beach days.
Water access often means leaving pavement behind, and the 20" fat tires are designed for uneven terrain. Their wide footprint and raised tread help the trailer stay stable on dirt paths, rough access roads, and deep sand. The wheels remove quickly thanks to the quick-lock skewers, making transport and storage simple. If your route includes mud, puddles, or wind-driven spray, adding Thule Reacha Bow Covers (sold separately) can help shield your board or bags on the way to the water.

Hi, everyone, I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Thule Reacha bicycle carriers. These are gonna be trailers that you can attach to the back of your bicycle, zero modifications required, and with this, you have the option of getting the Urban, which you can load up with all kinds of groceries, cargo gear, or the Sport edition, where you can load up with kayaks and whatever you need for adventure. We'll take a look at some of their features right here. So how does this work Well, you have your trailer, and the trailer has this attachment arm. So this an attachment arm wraps around the seat post of your bicycle, and secures it with some hook and loop straps, no bolting required.
With this, you can adjust for different types of bike heights and bike lengths for whatever fits best, and you have an easy option to just drive away with the attachment arm and leave your trailer parked, if needed for your trips. You have two trailer options. You have the Reacha Sport, which has this long nose, great for if you're planning on carrying around your kayaks, your paddleboards, or your canoes, and then you have the Reacha Urban. With a shorter nose, this will give you a much smaller footprint. Picture yourself riding through a city, picking up groceries, picking up cargo, this will allow you to fit into those smaller areas more easily.
Other than the different nose shapes, all your Reacha trailers are gonna have very similar features, capacities, and modularity. By modularity, you can add kickstands, you can add sidewalls, you can switch out the tires with just your quick release skewers. There's lots of things you can do with the Reacha trailers to customize for your adventure, but on their own, they're great for carrying around different cargo, different gear. The fact that you don't have to modify your own bike to carry around a trailer is awesome. Lightly modular, and very few tools required, I've been really enjoying using the Thule Reacha trailers here at etrailer.
We've been able to go around and use them for a couple of days, ride around on the bike, and it's been a lot of fun. There's also smaller touchpoints in there, like a really good weight capacity, levers that allow you to make adjustments without having to use tools or tighten down bolts. Please check out our product pages here at etrailer if you have more questions or you're curious about just the other things that you can do with your Reacha trailer. With that in mind, if you have been using these since they have been around for a while and you have some fun stories, please share your setup of your bike and your Reacha bike trailer, and that way, you can maybe inspire some other people along the way. But today, this was a really quick glimpse at our Reacha bike trailers from Thule, available as the Reacha Urban or the Reacha Sport, with your regular wheels or your beach wheels, right here at etrailer.com.
