Most Popular Sliding Rack for Ram 1500

Very heavy duty ladder rack that does not "whistle" while you drive down the road. Easy install overall, and it is very easy to install and remove the racks as needed after the original install. At the time of purchase this was not available for my vehicle with a short 5.5' bed, but with very minor fabrication the rails for longer beds fit perfectly. I have recommended this rack to several people since purchased a year ago.

Great product! Packaging could be better for the larger pieces (rub marks). My 2018 Ram 1500 quad cab came with some small challenges that I had to solve myself. No videos or written words available. Basically if your bed rails are covered with a bed liner you need to remove the plastic sleeve in the rear stake pockets. Otherwise you won’t get an equal spacing from one rail to the other. You will also need to use the provided rubber tape with the wedges in order to make the rails level. Otherwise it went together great.

I ordered the TracRac SR (sliding rack) for my 2019 Ram 3500. It took a while to get here, probably due to the current situation weall in. It came in 3 boxes on 2 days. (Just so you know what you'll be looking for) everything was packaged very secure in the boxes. I order the Cantilever with mine, so I had to swap out a couple parts. No big deal. Everything was explained in the instructions. It took me about 3 hours to install. The hardest part was getting the bed rails to align. I got them within 1/16th of an inch. Good enough. The rack is a great addition to the truck. I stepped down from an 8ft bed to this 6ft 4in bed. So this was a necessity. The rack is solid. I'll be putting it to work right away

After a year of service, it has held up well. Have hauled lumber, ladders, and trim (16' pieces). It is a game changer. One of the greates pperks is being able to remove the racks when my family and I go on vacation. I also have the cantilever extension. You will need it to carry 16' material. Just be sure to secure the caps on the extension bar better. They are not metal like the other Trackrac bar caps. They are plastic with 1 screw holding it in place. One cap has dissapeared on me while driving. I cannot find a replacement as the extension bar cap is a different size than the standard TracRac bar caps.

I did install the Thule TracRac SR. I did it on my own and it went well. I'm really pleased with it. As for the photo, I will send you one, once I've washed my truck. Can't make a photo with a dirty truck. I will leave feedback later after some time with the rack.
