I mounted the mirror on the passenger side of my 1978 3/4 ton Chevy pickup. The mirror mounted easily, did not even need to read the instructions. Tomorrow will be the real test when I drive 11 miles into town, fill my water tank, and return home. I am concerned that the hand tight bolts and screws will not withstand 11 miles over a dirt road and I will have to stop often and readjust them or they will vibrate out. Either way tomorrow is the big test.
I give this product 5 Stars. I mounted these on my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I have an 8.5 foot wide enclosed snowmobile trailer that I need to haul. I have no rear view with the stock mirrors. These mirrors provide excellent rear view on both sides of my vehicle. They are very easy to mount, are very solid, and cause no damage. I highly recommend this product.

Cipa Universal Door Mount Mirror
They work great. I can see most everything behind me . Well made. Been driving around and towing for years with crappy mirror extenders that were held on by rubber straps that vibrated with the truck energy . A gift from my wife that keeps on giving. The mirrors were fairly easy to install. They look good also. As seen in the enclosed photo with a truck full of fuel wood.
I have gone through several types of mirrors designed for travel trailers (or any other towed unit). This mirror is the only one that performs well. I get a very good view of what's in back of me, covering a large area. Of course this is very important when backing a travel trailer, and while driving in heavy traffic areas such as New York City area. I highly recommend this mirror. It will make your trips a lot less stressful.

Wheel Masters Vision Plus Extendable Towing Mirrors - Strap On - Qty 2
These are excellent mirrors. I had a bit of trouble going out of adjustment till I realized you need to tighten down the set nuts really good. More than you’d expect. Once I did I haven’t had to adjust them. Easy to take on and off. A couple strips of masking tape under straps if you are worried about dust rubbing car finish. Many thousands of miles and many multiple trips later still no jiggling, wear, or concerns.
My original order arrived without all the proper hardware. After notifying etrailer.com, they shipped me the needed parts immediately. I could not be more pleased with the service from the etrailer.com team. TheWheel Masters Vision plus extendable towing mirrors are built very strong. I hope they perform well, but I will not be towing for another 3-4 weeks.

CIPA Universal Deluxe Door-Mount Mirrors - Qty 2
Best made mirrors I can find nowadays, so I can see past our 7’6” wide travel trailer when it's behind our Jeep Wrangler. TIP: For a bit tighter fit, after the mirrors are in place on my doors and tightened down, I place a 3/4” thick piece of polystyrene foam between their pad and my door. Seems to really snug the straps up.
Great product. Great customer service. To explain ... I loosened the three screws to adjust one of the ball and socket joints. It never retightened properly. However after contacting them, etrailer took care of it and sent another mirror. Also, when on my 2011 Jeep grand cherokee the straps made loud humming type noise above 50mph or so. They had a suggestion of adding foam. So, with all that said, after getting the replacement mirror, modifying my adjustment method for a good view, modifying how I mounted the mirrors (moved the adjustment bracket for lower support) ... the hum is all but gone and the mirrors don't go out of adjustment when traveling down the road. Learned tips I would like to pass along. - adjust the side to side mirror adjustment by loosening hex nut then retighten. Don't loosen the ball/socket joint if at all possible. - adjust the up/down adjustment by slightly tilting the mounting angle of the whole mirror. I didn't have to do much. - etrailer, I suggest you put a copy of the online directions for these in the shipping box. The ones in the factory box are not as good. I like these because they were the among the few that go out far enough on my Jeep Grand Cherokee to properly look down the side of my 8ft wide RV travel trailer. I the kind that strapped on my mirrors helped but we're not nearly as good. The Jeep isn't as wide as a pickup.
What our customers are saying:
"Received the pair of Universal Fender Mount mirrors today, and wanted to say thanks for the fast service. These seem to be very well made mirrors, and I'm very pleased with their construction - even if there are virtually no assembly instructions. Figured it out myself with only a couple of washers leftover. Thanks again, Brad"
