Etrailer was great and shipping was fast. However the shipping was abusive to the packaging resulting in bent shaft on leading jack, which made it impossible to install gearbox for proper operation. Being mechanically inclined I could disassemble and straighten shaft hoping no stress fractures ending its life sooner than expected, or use shaft from previous jack. But why? I bought new parts for a reason.

Delivery was on time, but the box it arrived in didn’t fair we’ll and parts were hanging out of the box! But everything was accounted for and the parts were well wrapped. Installation was very easy. The only issue was the locking pins mount plate is tack welded to the primary leg that the motor moves up and down. Those mounting plates had to be removed to install the lead and follow jacks. A grinder made short work of that. I didn’t put the mounting plates back on, instead I used my spring loaded pins that were on the old legs, they were still in good working condition. Also I didn’t use the adjustable cross over rod that came in the package . I opted to use the one that was on my old jacks, it was constructed of heaven gauge tubing and didn’t have a much (slop) movement in it. Also did not use the plastic housing gear box, I purchased a aluminum house gear box from e-trailer a few months back and used that one keeping the plastic for a spare. Very satisfied.

I am very pleased with the Reese electric 5th wheel landing gear - 8000 pounds. Installation was a little difficult because the motor flange/mount was initially hitting one of the camper’s steel members. Using a side grinder, I was able to cut off the corner (maybe 1.5x1.0 inch cut) off the each motor mount, which I felt would not harm the integrity of the motor / landing gear in any way. The installation was then straight forward. I was able to use the original weld brackets, which made installation easier. The speed while extending is rated at 9 inches of lift per minute, and I would say that is about right (although I did not actually measure it). For the electrical panel, I wanted to fit in the same enclosure as the original panel, but it was too wide. So I took tin snips and trimmed approximately 0.5 inches from each side of the panel. The trimmed panel fit perfectly into the old enclosure…. see attached photo.

Jacks went in easy using the existing brackets from my single motor jacks. Just had to install a new switch panel ( since these are independently adjustable ) and run an additional power lead since these call for individual power and ground leads for each motor. They are 4 times faster than my original single motor jacks. These claim to raise 9 inches a minute and I believe that's about correct.

I really enjoyed working with Lauren she really knows the product line and the Ultra fab landing gear work far better than I expected. I have a 2019 Genis Supreme 33CKXL I highly recommend this product.

I recommend this landing gear set to everyone!!!!! After 2 replacements of tandem landing gear sets performed by dealership under warranty and still struggling lifting my 5th wheel, I decided to purchase this upgrade on my own dime. Best money I’ve spent in years. These lift my 15,000-16,000 5th wheel with no issues. Consistent and quiet. I don’t stress out anytime I’m hitching or unhitching anymore. 100% recommend buying. I’ve already talked 2 of my friends to do this upgrade and they love it.

Replaced the single Jack on our 1994 featherlite 4 horse trailer 24ft on the floor. Why did we wait so long? Works Like a dream, bought the mounting plate and cut off 3 inches and made 2 new mounting pads on it and done in less than 4 hrs. Jack came with a cracked motor cover,no problem in less than a week I was sent o replacement etrailer rocks in my book. Sent them a picture and no jacking around Ha ha, new cover at my doorstep.

We purchased this jack a year ago to replace the 2 speed hand crank jack on our LQ horse trailer. I had to build a custom mounting bracket to make it work with our trailer but once I figured that out, installation was very easy. My battery tray is just above the jack location so the cable lengths supplied were long enough to reach. I am more then happy with the power and the speed the jack operates at. Our trailer is quite heavy and It easily lifts the gooseneck. The process of unhooking our trailer went from minutes of heavy slow cranking to about 30 seconds at the push of a button. The supplied remote has a simple connection to the jack and is usually tucked under of the seat of the truck when its not being used. Its a great design that keeps the switches out of the elements. I highly recommend this jack! I should mention too that if you are worried about buying something like this online, etrailer was excellent to deal with. My jack arrived when expected, but it was damaged from shipping. etrailer immediately offered to replace it, but all I needed was the top plastic cover. They shipped out the replacement parts with no charge or effort by me and they arrived within a couple days. I am very happy with the service etrailer provides.

Landing gear was exactly what I ordered. Prompt delivery. Package was perfect. Landing gear just not as heavy duty as I hoped. I'm sure I will be replacing it again in a few years.

Jacks has functioned very good over the last year. No problems or issues encountered .
