The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.

I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you

I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…

Great product. Great quality. Instructions not real clear, so took me a couple of hours to assemble. Then another 15-20 minutes to secure to roof racks. I was working alone, extra hands would have helped. But extremely happy with quality and looks of product. We have lots of family that visit us, so I plan to carry luggage on the rack to free up space inside the vehicle on trips to and from the airport.

Love it! It's big enough to fit a bike carrier and a cargo bag on top of my MINI. Easy to assemble and install, solid construction. Great value for your money. If I have a gripe it's that the wind fairing on the front is VERY thin/fragile. I caught it with my bike tire when loading one day and the corner snapped right off like nothing. It's only about $XXX for the replacement.

Roof rack arrived dented and scratched which complicated the installation because I had to hammer out dents to get the pipes to fit. Apart from that, the paint/coating scratches off fairly easily and the installation design is pretty awful. Instead of threading the pipe to accept screws they have this complicated plastic gasket mechanism which takes forever to align. I expected more from Yakima and for the price. Quick delivery from etrailer and good fit overall-- just need to wait and see about rust.

Initial quality was excellent and assembly a snap. Finding a roof basket that wouldn't look like a tiny hat on a Jeep Commander was difficult, but the MegaWarrior is perfect! Assembly and mounting took less than an hour and it looks great. Now it just needs to be outfitted with a set of off-road lights. ;-)

I am very pleased with the quality for the price.Just the right size for my 2017 Chevy Trax.the "U" bolts that are used to clamp the basket to the roof cross bars were a bit long so I cut them shorter & installed rubber caps on top of each stud. This keeps the studs from damaging items in the bssket.See pictures.

I have had this rack on my Ford Excursion for a full year now. I go whitewater kayaking about every weekend and they fit in the rack very nicely. I bought a 4'x8' sheet of expanded steel mesh for a floor, cut it to length, painted it with truck bed liner, and fastened it to the cross bars with sheet metal screws so I wouldn't have to worry about balancing on the cross bars while loading and tying down gear. This summer we went to from TN to CO with 3 boats stuffed full of gear on top, and it handled them with ease. Get the folding ladder to make loading and unloading a breeze!

Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Basket on the 2022 Dodge Durango. This roof basket can carry about 165 pounds, but keep in mind your own capabilities for your own roof. So your own roof might not be able to carry that much weight. And then also think about the weight of the roof rack as well, 'cause that's gonna count towards your own roof's weight limit. Also the total height we have right now is gonna give you almost an additional 10 inches above your roof. So keep that in mind if you're going anywhere with a low clearance, especially if you're gonna have anything in here as well.
Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2012 Dodge Durango
Today on our 2012 Dodge Durango we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Roof Mounted Cargo Basket. That part number is RMCB. Now, this is 47" long by 35" wide, and has a 165 pound weight capacity, though you do want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. We've gone ahead and secured down three of our four mounts. We're going to show you how to secure our back passenger side here. I'm going to start by stepping up onto our vehicle. We've got our spacer here in between our crossbar and our cargo basket.
Curt Roof Basket Review - 2012 Dodge Durango
Today on our 2012 Dodge Durango we're doing a test fit of the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket. That part number is C18115. Now this is 41 1/2 inches long by 37 inches wide by four inches deep, and it has a 150-pound weight capacity. You do want to double check your vehicle's owners manual to make sure your vehicle's roof can withstand that much weight. Now we already have three of our four mounts secured down.
