24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
This a very nice hitch rack. Well built, lots of space, long hitch tube works very well with Jeep Wrangler JL spare tire, however, you will not be able to open the swing tailgate with the rack on. Its not a big issue as it provides a good amount of clearance to the ground. If you use this carrier with one of the hitch rack cargo bags, it really adds to the cargo capacity of the rack. I have been very happy with this rack, I also like that you can add additional tail/brake lights to the rack.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Purchased this 1 year ago. Worked awesome for a 9.000 mile cross country trip with three off road adventures at geology tour road Joshua tree, west side road Death Valley, and kingman wash lake mead. No rattle, always secure, great clearance. Would purchase again.
It works, but I only put two electric bikes on it. The mesh seems to bend pretty easy.

Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers - 2" Hitches
Very interesting! I am pleased with this purchase. All of this equipment is well built and was designed with ease of use and security in mind. The hitch part is surprisingly pretty heavy, but once it is connected this weight gives the hitch a sturdy feel. The lockers are pretty big and the material though light weight feels like it will hold up to some rough miles and a few bruises. It is so nice to have this much dry secure and easy to access storage outside of our vehicle. Customer service was excellent and delivery times were surprisingly short.
Very easy to install. Total installation time (not counting taking photos and opening boxes) was approximately 15 minutes. The only issue I encountered was the left handle on the lower rack had a broken piece inside the locking pin assembly. Other than that, everything was quick and smooth for a single person job. This will greatly assist my business by allowing more room for passenger comfort on long trips to and from airports with a large party. Looking forward to putting this to use.

GearSpace 34 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitch - Slide Out - 34 cu ft - 300 lbs - Light Gray
Very pleased with product and the assistance provided for delivery - when the carrier called to arrange delivery their agent said that I'd be responsible for getting the 300# pallet off the truck so I let etrailer.com customer service rep know this was unacceptable and to my reliefthe delivery came on a lift gate truck with pallet jack. The package was in great shape and easy to get mounted to my Transit 350HD.
A little too early for review, since I just received it. As far as first impressions go..... item arrived well packed. Upon opening it, I noticed that there is a blemish on the side, looks like maybe it was pushed hard in that spot, or something hit it. It's not really big deal, doesn't take away from being able to use it, it's more cosmetic than anything else. The second issue was a bit more serious. One of the long screws on the locking mechanism fell out of its end. It was not screwed in, or permanently welded but glued in. Glue was all dried out and didn't hold anything. We managed to hammer it in, for now, and we will check if it's going to hold up. Box looks nice, roomy and it's easy to put together and install on the car. I'll be able to say more about it once we use it this weekend.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged, and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
This carrier worked out great. The tilt down feature is helpful to have but I didn't really need it. However, the fold up feature was helpful when driving around, so I recommend that as a convenience. The only thing I had trouble with was the hitch bolt. I have a Thule bike rack that I've used with my truck hitch receiver and never had a problem, but this rack's hitch bolt was a real pain to get in at first. Don't be dismayed. With the rack off of the vehicle, I used some WD-40 and some lithium grease on the bolt and then used an adjustable wrench to screw it in and out a number of times. I noticed a bunch of either paint or metal shards gumming up the threads on the bolt each time I removed it. After about 5 times of screwing it in and out, wiping off the bolt with a towel, adding some more grease once in a while, it got to the point that I could screw it in and out by hand pretty easily. Problem solved. I'm really happy with this rack. It fit two big coolers of food and beer plus beach umbrellas and other stuff. It's really strong and sturdy. The biggest issue was not the weight on the rack, but whether the rear suspension on the Highlander could hold it with our other junk in the back plus passengers. :-)

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
We just installed our carrier. We love that this is going to free up a lot of space for our vacation traveling. Very heavy duty and bigger than i was thinking it would be.The pin that holds the carrier in the hitch was not included. It would have been an added bonus if it was.
This cargo carrier fits perfectly behind my 2023 CR-V. I use it for hauling bags of grass to the yard waste. It is almost a two person job inserting it into the receiver though. Seems well made and well finished.

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic c18151

First thing we'll do right here is take our ground clearance measurement, it's going to be about 19 and 3 quarter inches. Overall for the back of the truck, we're adding about 33 and half inches back here. Our closest point is going to be about 12 and 3 quarter inches. Now on the Silverado, we do have a single passenger side exhaust, it does come out straight out to the side, so you shouldn't have to worry about carrying any heat sensitive materials in your cargo carrier. You might just want to be precautions the first time there. Next thing we'll check is our tailgate clearance.

What our customers are saying:
"Outstanding customer service! These days I would say very few companies excel at customer service - in a time when web servers and outsourcing can do most of the work, it is rare. I called one week before I plan to go on vacation to get a particular cargo carrier that I was not able to find in any local store. I sppoke to a real human being who not only took my order, but assured me that it would be handled immediately to ensure that it got here in time. Within three hours I received an email that it was in stock and being prepared. Fifty minutes later I received an email from a different person saying it was shipped. The next day it was in Georgia. Phenomenal way to take care of your business. Great work!"
