Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
I originally bought the Air Lift 1000 to prevent my 2011 Pathfinder from sagging when I pull my 4,500lbs boat. So far so good, the sag is gone. Other benefits are a firmer ride and less roll on the turns. If I posted the pics correctly you can see I ran each bag independently and I was able to mount each Schrader Valve on my 7 pin wire harness. This is a very easy DIY project. I suggest taking off the wheels and placing the bags in the springs from outside the vehicle rather then from underneath.
Awesome product. Fit on my 2009 Nissan Pathfinder really well. Distributes the weight of my 18' RV trailer nicely to the front suspension. No $550 weight distribution hitch necessary. Easy install. Saves your suspension.

Excelente product, high quality AND good price. Delivery took a while than i spected. Will buy again your product..thanks
Had the air lift 1000 air helper springs installed 6 months ago on my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder that the coil springs had relaxed on and would bottom out on bumps. Love them! Put in 12psi and have loaded 450 lbs in back of Pathfinder and no bottom out. Unloaded still rides soft.

Thankfully I read a lot of the reviews, comments and help to install. First I put the airbags in hot water in the sink to get them pliable. Next I rolled them into a hotdog shape with zip ties readied to hold them in shape. Then I put the airline in place. I put the rubber plate in. I fed the airline in and slid the airbag thru the bottom spring twisting it facing the wheel bending it upward. Fairly easy to get it in. With the folded side towards me, I cut the zip ties. I pushed the airbag thru fitting in and aired the up to 5 pounds. Works like a charm. Good lick
The units work great! The ride on my Pathfinder is greatly improved with and without the 2Ton trailer load. Warmth is your best friend. I installed the units on a 30°F day. The units would not fold as necessary to insert into the unsprung coil. I warmed them in a 150°F oven for ten minutes and presto! I was also necessary to warm the ends of the air hose to get them on the fittings. Heat up a cup of water, dip the ends in, shake off the excess water and insert. Don’t forget to put the clamp on first.

Funny you should ask. These bags worked great for almost one year. Before one year was out the hose on both sides at the bag connectlion chafed through and leaked. It looks like the top plate puck or the hose spring clip may have been rubbing against the hose thereby chafing part of the hose until it finally leaked. Fixed one side by cutting the hose and reclamping it. Then the other side leaked in exactly the same place . The design needs a stouter connection between the bag and the hose that won't chafe through . The bag input nozzle was mounted on the top side of the bag on my 1996 Roadmaster wagon. After the airlift 1000 bags deflated my air suspension shocks blew out while pulling a trailer. Pretty disappointing design flaw.
Fast shipping, easy ordering and follow up! Quality looks great and price was great for product!

The Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs (Rear - AL60786) to fit my 2015 Toyota Sequoia (8 passenger vehicle) were purchased specifically for a lengthy 6 day trip with my Wife's two brothers and their spouses. This also included a roof carry-all and a hitch receiver Carry-all box to accommodate all our luggage. So, the bottom line the "AirLift Helper Springs worked!
Easy, straight forward installation. Looking for flexibility to avoid rear spring sag when pulling trailer and carrying loads. I'm happy I went with Air Lift and of course etrailer. Was very impressed with etrailer's outreach and the quick shipping and delivery.

Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
I purchased this product for some additional support for our Hummer H2 when we are towing our travel trailer. I removed the springs for easier installation of each bag. I am 66 years old and total time from start to completion was 3 1/2 hours from set up to clean up !
Put these on 07 tahoe. I pull a camper and put 400lbs of tools in back of tahoe. With just the tools I noticed it help put more weight on front wheels. I have not pulled camper yet but with just the minimum 5lbs of pressure it helped with the tools. It took me about 4 hrs to install by myself on the ground. The hardest part was getting it pushed into the coil springs. I ended up using a ratchet strap to help push it in. It was fun trying to get the hose connected afterward, could not see, had to feel and take a picture to make sure it was fully seated.

2017 Toyota Sienna van, very helpful for heavy loads and load balancing when pulling 13’ fiberglass and 19’ popup campers. Have used these for years on several different vehicles and have never been disappointed.
Both air bags leaked where the seam is, clearly not heat welded properly, also the air fittings always seep air, so constantly adding air while traveling, I had to order another set from (another site) with one day delivery so as not to miss our trip and then returned the original set from etrailer back to (another site), a fiasco.

Excellent material and the installation instructions were very clear and to the point with the best pictures that coincided with the written material. Only took me 2.5 hours from the start of assembling the air bags with the hardware on the workbench to putting away my tools! This is on my '04 dodge 3500 dually that will be handling my new Host Mammoth Slide in Camper that will set at apprx. 5000 lbs.! Beautiful to maintain level truck and to know that the springs are not collapsed and wearing them down prematurely as well as providing a safe handling truck when on the road.
This is a great system that is pretty easy to install for the average garage mechanic. Installed on a 2018 Ram Mega Cab with 6.7. 30 PSI in the bags and it eliminates the squat when pulling my fifth wheel. One year in and still works great with no air loss from week to week. In my opinion upgrading to the braided lines was just inexpensive insurance.

After my AIR LIFT 1000came in and laid everything out to inspect . wow this goes in the coil springs! after reading instructions it was a little tricky folding the bladder into hotdog bun and sliding into coil spring. the second coil spring was better. that being said, got it aired up to 35 psi and hooked up my tear drop trailer and was totally satisfied with the way my Murano handle the towing . ( 2020 Nissan Murano awd ) pulled teardrop with no swaying and car rode level. after trip I lowered the PSI to 5 -7 lbs. Air Lift 1000 perfect
These seem to work really well so far, can't speak to longevity yet, but they appear to be a well made air bladder.. Installation wasn't too bad, once I figured out the easiest way to get them between the coils. They definitely have improved load carrying capacity especially when pulling my motorcycle trailer.

I FIT THESE ON A NISSAN NV 3500. IT TOOK SOME WELDING ( THERE IS NOT A MODEL FOR THESE BUT MY MECHANIC KNEW HE COULD MAKE IT FIT). THEY ARE GREAT!! YOU CANT OVER LOAD THE TRUCK I KEEP IT AT 70 PSI. I ALSO FITTED AN ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR AND AN ADJUSTABLE 1/4 INCH REGULATOR AND DONT NEED ANY ADJUSTMENT.
Easy install great fit. Put them on our 04 E450 rv that we take to Old Mexico twice a year on some hideous roads. They’re worth every penny and rides so much better.
