The crossbars came together with all mounting hardware, platforms and legs. Evertyhing arrived together in short time and was raasonably easy to assemble. etrailer.com's videos and additional customer support made the purchase of a Rhino Rack system from them for our 2010 Malibu a no brainer. The rack fit the car perfectly, and with the videos and clear instructions that came with the kit, I got it installed on the car with only one misstep. The instructions came the the measurements in centimeters and inches. I didn't have a metric tape measure, and ended up messing up converting fractions to decimal. My Daughter is going to college 500 miles away and is moving into an unfurnished apartment and needed to pick up some small furniture that wouldn't fit in her Malibu. She purchased several items from Facebook Marketplace and was able to transport a twin bed and mattress, a medium sized desk and some dining room chairs (in several trips) with no problems. The only thing I can think of to improve the installation would be to have the Inches measurements in decimal or to include an inexpensive metric tape.

Bought the Thule Wingbar Evo 118 crossbars and Thule Evo Raised Rail footers and installed them on my 2016 RAV4. Pretty easy to install and I did watch a few videos online to make sure I was doing everything right. I like the new raised rail system from Thule as it is clamp style versus the rubber strap - both work very well, but the newer clamp system is nice because the tool you use to tighten the footings clicks when it reaches the right tightness so you don't over tighten it. I recommend these rails and the footings (Thule 710401) as the system is quiet when driving and looks good.

One bar slid out on our first road trip. The "grip" that it slides into can't be adjusted. I am in communication with Yakima about this as Etrailer said that's the route that I would need to go. Very frustrating.

From start to finish, the folks at etrailer -- and I spoke to several people there, so it was a consistent corporate vibe -- were fantastic to deal with. There were delays in getting my product that were on the supplier side and out of etrailer's control, yet etrailer folks kept me up to date and also worked on a customized solution. My goal was to be able to carry my surfboard on the roof of our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe to the beach more than 3 hours away. But the particular model we had had no existing racks, no recessed areas, nothing to fix racks to. Not even the dealer had a solution. I was sh*t out of luck. But etrailer hooked me up. The racks did take me a while to put on, but most of that time was fine tuning to reduce “hum” while driving. I’m very happy with them. Thanks to etrailer, I have gone surfing and can go surfing whenever I'd like to.
