This mounted on our trailer bumper just fine. It has 2 bolts, one in the center and one that goes through one of the lug nut holes in the wheel. The lug nut hole location works fine and can be tightened properly. The center one has a thin metal cross bar that bends easily. I tossed that and replaced it with a wooden block that fits in the center of the wheel. That works great and can be tightened.

Attached is a set of photos of my new “Rack-Em” interior tire hanger. I bought both the new spare tire and wheel from etrailer and it was SUPER easy on-line. I watched it track on my phone and both items arrived AHEAD of schedule. I installed the hangar and the tire in MINUTES! Thanks Bros and Sis’s at etrailer, I’m as they say: “Miles Ahead with etrailer!”

I think this mount is going to work out just fine. I like that it gives the option of being a solid mount or a drop down/pivot type. I chose to use both bolts and make it solid. The only thing is that if I wanted to use it as a pivot type, the retaining pin was the wrong size. But it all worked out.

I have a Class A and tow a dolly. My dolly does not have space to attach a spare tire. This spare tire holder mounts perfectly on my rear bumper. It's out of the way, easily accessible and looks good.
