I welded it to the curt ball mount after aligning it with the ball mount. Very strong!

I bought this damper mount because it was all set and I didn't have to do anything except bolt it on to my hitch bar. It was very simple just follow the direction provided. Remove the ball then position the damper mount and reinstall the ball. The quality of the part was excellent and everything worked as expected.

This product made a huge difference in the sway problem I had with my travel trailer. Large trucks and/or cross winds were very scary. I would not recommend towing a large trailer without sway control.

The sway control kit I ordered went on the receiver of my travel trailer easily and fits well. I tested the turn radius to see how sharp of a turn it would make without "hitting" and it performed perfectly. I haven't had the chance to take it on the road yet but don't anticipate any problems.

Am quite happy with eTrailer. Their website provides more detailed info than the manufacturer's! Getting ready for the summer boating season... Needed a longer hitch bar so could open tailgate with trailer hooked up. This was exactly as specified and works great. I normally tow my vintage Airstream with a vintage, 3/4-ton Suburban whose 7.4l engine has quite the taste for mid-grade gasoline. Economics has forced me to consider towing with my wife's '09 Yukon which has an incredibly high receiver hitch. Etrailer had just the shank I needed (the black part in the picture) at a great price to make everything work. And it got here quickly. I'm now literally a happy camper.

Direct fit. Time will tell on the longevity of the spacers but will control the noise a bit. I understand friction is needed but the solution of using grease at the touchpoints as an alternative still has reduced friction. My RV is max 6k, I have the 10k capable hitch setup and will report back any cocnerns. Right now all is good. E trailer, thank you for the quick turnaround on the order.

I have a different manufacturer trunnion style equalizer and I was able to make this work with a few spacers because the down tube on the old hitch was 2 1/2" square, not 2". Our new Tahoe has a much higher mounted receiver than our old, and this leveled out our 30' travel trailer perfectly. Hitch was shipped and delivered promptly.
