Glacier Tire Chain Tensioners for 16-1/2" to 19" Rims - Rubber - 1 Pair
The order came quicker than anticipated. I installed chains just before snow storm. Unfortunately the chain tensioners( said 99 LT on package, words fits all passenger and mini van was crossed out in black marker) were too small to use correctly even though it said good for 17 inch rims. One broke when I tried to install it. Rigged chains up with some tensioners I already had and the chains worked beautifully . I looked at your video online after the fact and wound up ordering the recommended TCMA2 tensioners today. Hopefully they will fit.
We ordered these tensioners with a set of Pewag square link, mud service heavy duty chains appropriately sized for our 315/75R16 tires. Those tires have a tall sidewall and so I opted for the tensioners listed for 16 to 20" wheels. However, with those chains and tall sidewalls of our tires, these tensioners lack sufficient reach to get more than three hooks attached to the chains (photo). If you're planning on using these tensioners on a tire with a tall sidewall and a chain that doesn't extend down the sidewall very far (as ours), I recommend mounting the chains and then measuring the diameter of the circle inside the side chains. Call Etrailer with that measurement and see if they can set you up with a tensioner that will fit. Our ordering experience with Etrailer was great - prompt shipping and compassionate customer service when I explained the problem mentioned above.

Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Passenger Vehicles - 1 Pair
All the hooks had to small of a gap to hook on my chains. After spreading the gap to fit I went to put them on and the rubber snapped in two before I could hook the opposite side. Absolute junk. 2024 Hyundai Palisade.
These Titan Chain/Tire Chain Adjuster are perfect, thank you...
Best 2020 Tesla Model 3 Tire Chain Options
Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with eTrailer. Today we have a Tesla Model 3, and we're going to be going over all of your snow tire chain options. We've been putting chains on this Tesla all day, and I have narrowed it down to about four to give you an idea of what your options are. First option is going to be our cable chains, and these are going to be, in my opinion, the hardest to install out of all of them, and then we're going to have some self-tensioning snow tire chains. And then of course, we're going to have some other chains that aren't as nice as the self-tensioning tire chains. So let's go ahead and get started.Let's go over the reasons why I think you shouldn't go with the cable chains. First of all, it's an extremely hard install.
Mount: Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains on a 2020 Tesla Model 3
Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Titan chain, alloy snow tire chain on our 2020 Tesla Model 3.We're going to get a diamond pattern with these chains, so it's going to be a definite upgrade from the ladder pattern style chains. We have a lot more links on our tires, so we're going to get a lot more traction, both returning, starting and stopping of course. One thing I like about it is I like to protect my wheels. I love my wheels on my car and I really like the Tesla wheels. So with these coated links we don't really have to worry about anything really happening to the rims, so don't worry about that at all. Also with the rubber tensioner, those are also coated and of course the rubber isn't going to do a thing.I do like how the tensioner is connected to the chain so you don't have to worry about losing it.

Adam: What's going on, everybody, Adam here with etrailer. today, we're going to be taking a look at the Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chain on our 2020 Tesla Model Three. We are going to have a diamond pattern that we get with these chains. And we are going to have a high quality manganese nickel alloy steel with dual sided D Links. These are relatively smaller D Links so don't worry about anything happening to your Tesla. There's not a whole lot of wheel-well clearance, but these are not going to cause any damage.
Installing the Glacier Cable Tire Chains on your 2020 Tesla Model 3
Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains on our 2020 Tesla Model 3. We are going to have steel rollers on these chains. So it's going to be a lot less aggressive than some of the other chains that we offer for the Tesla here. These are going to deliver the smoothest ride of them all, in my opinion, just because of the rollers. It's not as tall as some of the others, and of course, it's round.
